  I can’t say enough good things about Gracie KC. The entire staff are just born to teach and are so engaging and great at what they do. The instructors are masterful at engaging the kids which helps keep them focused and keeps it fun. It’s hands on and fast paced and just awesome. My son has fun every single time and the students actually get to partner up and practice with each other, unlike some other martial arts programs we’ve tried where the students don’t get to physically interact with each other. After months of watching my son practice, I started their women’s self-defense evening classes called Women Empowered and I just can’t get enough. Mrs. Tiffany is an incredible instructor, the class is so fun and what we learn is absolutely priceless. The other thing we love about Gracie is the flexible scheduling. They offer several class times throughout the week and you can come to whichever one works for you that week. For youth classes, sign up for 4 or 8 times per month or unlimited classes and just drop in to the class/es you want that week. On top of all that, the atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, they create opportunities for students and families to support the community, they encourage self-discipline at home and motivate students to be good humans. We love love love Gracie Jiu-Jitsu KC and highly recommend you try it out.

  Our son has really enjoyed the little champs class at Gracie Jiu Jitsu. He has tried several different types of classes, but hasn’t taken to any of them like this. It’s a mix of having fun, learning self defense, and learning important values. Right now they are learning respect. The owners Tiffany and TJ are really nice and welcoming. Elizabeth is also great when you need help with any of the details. It’s so good to see our son having fun, making friends, and learning important life skills. 10 out of 10 recommend Gracie Jiu Jitsu.

  Our daughter who recently turned 8 yrs old just moved up to Jr Grapplers from Little Champs. As one of the smaller students she was apprehensive to switch classes. However, she had a blast and the instructors made it a seamless transition. They definitely took the focus and skill to a whole new level but still implemented the fun our daughter was so accustomed to at Little Champs! Our daughter and our family can't wait for the next class and look forward to the growth and progress of her grappling and knowledge of BJJ!

  My son Patrick and I have been attending Gracie Jiu Jitsu Kansas City since August 2022, and it has been an incredible experience from the start. The staff and instructors are truly top-notch, creating a welcoming and family-focused environment that feels like home. The kids’ curriculum is outstanding—teaching confidence, discipline, and valuable life lessons, with the most important being to avoid conflict whenever possible. For adults, the program is equally inviting. It’s not about creating warriors but equipping you with practical self-defense skills while fostering camaraderie and lifelong friendships. One of the best aspects is the no-pressure approach; you’re encouraged to learn and grow at your own pace. Joining this academy has been one of the best decisions our family has made, and we couldn’t recommend it more highly!

  We love Kick! Our younger boys love their Jiu-Jitsu class with Mr. Ben. All of the instructors are great, they are kind, patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend if you are looking for an inclusive fun experience for your children!
