This is an excellent gym. Professor Ricardo is an accomplished competitor and he has a deep understanding of jiujitsu both as a sport and a combat art. The atmosphere is modern and inclusive, but tradition and quality is entirely preserved. Having watched him for some time, I feel that he is a good instructor to both adults and children, and able to adjust between extremely athletic and sedate participants with ease. I would highly recommend this place if you're in the Manassas area.

I've had the best experience at this school! I was just a beginner when I walked in, but I've gained so much confidence through the kind and helpful instruction of Mr. Ricardo. There is a wide variety of classes available on a great schedule, so every one from young kids to adults can come learn and be empowered by BJJ.

My 9yo son has been doing BJJ & competing for about a year now & just recently joined Frontline this June. We are so thankful to have found such an amazing Professor and Academy! I have seen so much growth these last two month now he’s training with Professor Ricardo. We love his training methodology! He’s extremely supportive, encouraging and attentive to each student. He’s always been so kind, professional and welcoming. The facility is always clean and well kept. My sons says he would give him a 1000 star review if he could. We’re just thrilled to be a part of the Team & look forward to future training and competitions with Professor Ricardo!

Front Line Jiu Jitsu Academy is newly opened in April, 2023. Mr. Ricardo Ribeiro is such a very experienced black belt instructor and competitor. I have trained BJJ close to 7 years. I have followed and learned from him for 4 years. He not only has great BJJ skills and techniques, but also good morale and positive spirit. When I could not do some moves, like inverted guard, he has tons of patience and uses different ways to show how I can improve. He is such an amazing BJJ instructor to learn from. Also, if you like to compete in BJJ tournaments, he himself holds BJJ competitions locally and in other States. He can inspire you in some ways in BJJ So, come and try it out. You will like it.

Excellent academy with high standards for quality and techniques. People of all levels and ages are accepted to practice there in a very family like environment. Ricardo's attention to detail makes it fun while the use of the moves and techniques can be used on a tournament situation or self-defense. Highly recommend just about anyone to try it out for yourself.

Frontline Academy is hands down one of the best gyms I have ever attended. From my first visit I was blown away by the quality of the facilities, the super soft and modern tatami and the attention to detail that is evident in every aspect of the gym.
