  Here’s a cleaner, sharper Google-style review post — still warm, still a touch cheeky, still professional: ⸻ Honestly, one of the best gyms I’ve ever stepped into. It’s got that proper old-school spit-and-sawdust vibe, but with seriously professional coaching and real expertise on the mats — the sweet spot, I think. The kit is spot-on too. Kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, boxing… everything you actually need without a load of shiny million-pound machines you’re too scared to go near. This place is built for working hard, getting sweaty, and leaving with that “yep, I earned this” feeling. The team? Brilliant. Friendly, helpful, and they make you feel welcome from the second you walk in. It’s genuinely family-friendly as well — kids, parents, fighters, beginners, all training under one roof, which gives the place a really good heartbeat. Couldn’t recommend it more.

  I have trained with Gav and at Trojan since I was 10 years old. My confidence, heart and determination had grown more and more each year! I went from a young child wanting to kickbox to a world champion with even bigger dreams. Now i’m an amateur boxer with big hopes of turning over professional and the time and dedication the coaches put in is unbelievable!

  My son joined Trojan approx 18 months ago, He was boxing previously, but has excelled since joining Trogan, now has his Ameuter licence. The coaches are fantastic with members, they teach them as a group and on individual basis, they know all their members by name. It is like an extended family (with the parents too). Also must not forget to mention Adele, (the one who welcomes everyone into the club), does all the admin, she is friendly and always finds time to help. If you are thinking to sending your child/children, then please do, you will not regret it, best thing I did moving my son here, he's made lots of friends and it is his passion now, also great for fitness. Well done to everyone at Trojan

  We've sent both of our boys for a free lesson to find out if this is something they would be interested in. Well, since day one, they loved it. You can find here great atmosphere, friendly staff, a healthy balance between discipline, quality trainning and some good laughs 😃. You can stay and watch your child's progress. Every lesson they are choosing the Start of the Class for the best performance, where child receive the certificate. They are also having gradings every few months to be able to get higher color belt. Once you've signed in and bought the whole kit, you can install the TMA app, where you can find all of the info you need such as: gradings, awards, photos, etc. If you are looking for a place where you want your child to gain new skills, confidence or new friends, your in the right place.

  My daughter absolutely loves Trojan Martial Arts! It's been an amazing experience for her – she's improved so much in both boxing and kickboxing. Her confidence and skill has grown tremendously, and she truly looks forward to every class. The coaches are all fantastic, very supportive, and skilled at helping her push herself while making sure she has fun. Highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to improve their skills in a positive, encouraging environment! 👌

  Our girls enjoy TMA and attends twice a week. They are building confidence and resilience! All staff are great with the girls. Our eldest also does Junior leader and loves assisting the Little Trojan session on a Monday.

  My son started here in September making use of the back to school offer to see if he liked the sessions. He loved them from the instructors, to the sessions and the gym itself. He has grown in confidence and looks forward to going every week.

  My eldest has been going for about 4 years starting in little trojans now in the juniors, her confidence has come on leaps since going to TMA. The coaches are amazing showing the kids the right techniques in a safe environment and giving them the skills that they can transfer into life not just in fitness but in focus and discipline. Highly recommended sending your kids here
