Awesome environment for adults and kids!!! The owner (Daniel) is so friendly, patient, and knowledgeable for all skill levels and ages. This is one of if not the only Brazilian Jiujitsu gyms in this area. For years, the only option was to drive to Atlanta, Gwinnett county, Athens, McDonough etc. No jiu-jiu-jitsu gyms were close to Lithonia, Conyers, and Covington. The classes focus on learning and developing skill from no resistance to full resistance with live “wrestling/rolling”, takedowns, and ground work. The higher belts really help the lower belts learn to develop their skills too. This has become a family activity for us with the kids class preceding the adult class. From young to old, preparing for a competition, or working on fitness, this is a great place to train!

Daniel Hunt is an excellent Brazilian Jujitsu instructor. He has a deep understanding of the form and is able to impart his knowledge so others can grasp it. He’s patient with beginners but he can push the advanced practitioners to acquire new skills. One cannot go wrong training with him.

Jiu Jitsu in general is an extremely rewarding discipline/sport. It trains mental as well as physical toughness that anyone would surely benefit from; any gender, any age. I have about 2.5 years of BJJ experience and its been one of the most rewarding processes Ive gone through. A big part of that reason is coach Dan Hunt. He's very knowledgeable, but more importantly imo, he connects with people on a personal level. You're not just a number in a class with him, and he doesn't have the ego Ive heard about from other coaches. He's a badass, don't get me wrong, but he's a really good guy and that mix makes his classes super enjoyable.
