The studio is kept immaculately clean, and I really appreciate their strict indoor-shoes policy. There’s no smell, which was a pleasant surprise. My daughter appreciated the instructors for the "Lil’ Rogues" class, and you can tell the whole place is run incredibly well. Highly recommend.

i’ve been training almost 2 years now and switched over to rogue from another gym and honestly it feels like i finally found the right room really good spread of skill levels and belts, lots of gi, and the classes are games based so you’re not just doing rote drills and forgetting them as soon as someone resists, you actually learn how to win grips, off balance people and solve problems live even when you’re getting beat the higher belts are teaching you, the bigger the belt gap the more it turns into a mini private instead of them farming wins, nobody makes you clean mats, nobody is weird about rank, and they don’t force you to call them coach, a couple of them literally told me to stop calling them that eddie has that lachlan giles vibe, super approachable, super clear, zero instagram fluff, constantine is like danaher if he chilled out and dropped the knife obsession, dan pat and nick are all sharp and funny too and have all spent time just troubleshooting my bad habits biggest gender spread i’ve seen anywhere, and age wise it’s everything from high schoolers to retirees, open mats pull people from a bunch of top seattle gyms, so you get really different looks, and the music is always on point, they even let me DJ one of the open mats which was chaos in the best way actual things i’ve heard on the mat “i don’t know let’s try it” “stop pretending to faint so you can duck tapping” “you don’t work here why are you here all the time” if you want serious jiu jitsu with zero cult vibes and people who actually want you to improve, come here. hobby/gym curious, fitness-inspired, competition warriors. Drop in! And tell them Andy sent you.

Traveled to Seattle and wanted to be able to roll. Found Rogue online and just liked the vibe given off from the site. That vibe continued at the door where I met Constantine and some other members of the club. Nice mat size, very clean and just an overall welcoming environment. I loved Constantine's attitude of "I can't offer food or drink" but I can roll with you. Special shout out to Noah, who was my rolling partner that day. If I lived in the area, this would be my home base.

Dropped in for a class while traveling in Seattle for work. Was warmly welcomed by Constantine and Eddie who led the class. Excellent instruction, beautiful clean facility, friendly instructors and students. Highly recommend!

I did a lot of shopping around Seattle for a new jiu-jitsu gym, and as soon as I walked into Rogue, I knew I had found my place. Aside from having really great instructors, the gym is alsp the cleanest one I've ever been in. They have a shower available (soon to have another!) and the vibes are friendly and welcoming. Any gym that puts an emphasis on a women's program is also a place I want to be.

Rogue offers a fun, laid-back atmosphere with focused, technical training. Their emphasis on learning and jiu-jitsu exploration sets them apart in the PNW. I love the reverse classroom sessions, which let you engage with new techniques, and the positional classes that push you outside your comfort zone.

Very cool class structure with the space for students to trouble shoot. Very welcoming to women as they have free women class every week!

They have top notch instructors and a very clean gym with a huge mat space. I had an absolute blast training there. Lots of different body types to train with.

The gym is super welcoming and everyone is so nice and positive. Eddie and the other coaches are amazing and super passionate about jiu jitsu. By far the best place to train jiu jitsu in Seattle!

The best up and coming jiujitsu academy in Seattle. This is a fantastic place to get your start if you've ever wanted to try a new sport, and a great academy to check out if you're experienced in the sport and wanted to have the time to work on your own game. Definitely come by and check it out!

If it were possible to transmute enthusiasm and applause into text, I’d be effusively throwing around nothing but joyful vibes in this review. Since I am limited to language here, I’ll put it as honestly as I can: this Jiu-Jitsu academy is an answer to a decades-plus prayer to find an awesome gym that is as welcoming in spirit as it is technically precise in training and teaching. It is abundantly manifest from Day One that Eddie and Constantine have invested heart, soul, and experience in creating your ideal jiu jitsu academy. Listen — I am NOT your typical BJJ player. I’m older, have a visual disability, and am a slow learner. I did BJJ ten years ago at another gym and left after being disgusted by the machismo. I thought I would NEVER find an hospitable space to just train and grow in the gentle art. And so years have gone by and thought I was done. And then along came Rogue JJ! Wow. Expectations met and exceeded. I don’t think I’ll ever look back. I’ve found my martial arts home. They have my strongest recommendation on all accounts and in regards to every aspect of what they are creating. I ESPECIALLY encourage those who, like me, are hesitant to train (or get back intro training after a bad experience.) One hour on the mats with Rogue JJ and all the bad taste from prior problems vanished and was replaced with a joyful hunger to learn more JJ. Thanks, fellas!!

Literally couldn’t ask for a better place to train JJ !! Rogue has a welcoming and positive environment for all levels— from beginners to experienced competitors. Eddie’s an incredible coach with a deep knowledge of JJ. His instruction is top-notch— with amazing clear instruction and individualized feedback. Everyone is passionate about JJ and excited to learn and improve. There are no traditional strict rules or hierarchy, and all coaches and training partners create an upbeat atmosphere. Whether you’re just getting started, looking to dive into learning advanced technique, or preparing for your next comp— Rogue’s 1000% the gym to train at.

Really great and talented coaches! They really provide an awesome training environment for everyone. The facility is nice, so much room on the mats and there are so many great training partners. This gym is going to make some noise 2025 in PNW area and I am looking forward to it.

Best Coaching on the planet. Eddie is by far the best BJJ teacher I've ever met. His explanations are super thorough, without over indexing on minute details. Pat, Liam, Owen, and Dan are also amazing. They're super aware of current BJJ trends, and they know what works / doesn't work in a competition environment. Everyone here is friendly and just loves the sport of Jiu Jitsu -- no bullshit hierarchies or expensive gis/merch you are required to wear. Also, there's tons of space! Nice and safe for practicing standup and wrestling. You won't have to sit out of rounds because it's so packed, like some other gyms.

In the PNW, Rogue instructors are second to none. Eddie gives fantastic, actionable advice and my jiu jitsu has improved tremendously while working with this team.

I apparently can't read dates correctly and showed up to a beginner class a week before the first one was scheduled. The owners never mentioned that it was my mistake, took me in, showed me around the gym and made sure I got an introduction to Jiu Jitsu basics. This is not only a spectacularly decent way to run a business but to treat people in general. Will be back for proper classes when they actually start.
