Your new home away from home. Discover word class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, exceptional grappling and combat training with an unbeatable environment at Bourbon Submission Academy..
Although there was no bourbon, I felt like I had a hangover after being beaten into submission so frequently. The instructors are fantastic and true masters of their craft. If you’re looking to learn how to fight, there is no place better!
Great place to train, no matter your level of experience. Instructors work with you individually to make you better, great training partners, great atmosphere. Great gym.
Paul and his gym are awesome!! Everyone was so nice and walking in there felt like you were at your meemaw’s house for the weekend!! Super family oriented and such a great kids program!!
Great gym, very family oriented. Instructors know their craft and relay it in a fun, professional way. Have been bringing my son (15) here for a while, and it’s always just the right balance of pushing him to make him better and tougher, but not over doing it to the point of breaking his spirit or causing him to give up. Everyone he rolls with makes it a challenge for him but also takes the time to help and teach with patience and care. I trust them completely to build his skill set without worrying about injuries. They defend that reputation and I have personally seen gym bullies be asked to leave and not return, as it should be.
I’ve rolled with these guys a bunch myself, and they always bring it. Tough but safe training partners with ZERO egos. Excellent, tight-knit group…worth the drive for us.
High level jiu jitsu, great coaches, great training partners. If you have the chance check this place out. You’ll know immediately these guys care about everyone who walks in the door and will do everything they can to ensure you succeed. If you’re in the area this is the spot to train.
Awesome place to train.
I did a "pop in" class a few years ago when traveling in Kentucky and was very impressed with the instruction, the talent in the room, and facilities. Very welcoming and friendly group of people. I was so impressed that last year when I had another business to Kentucky, I especially rearranged my schedule so I could train there again. Great, great place.
I’ve been training Jiu jitsu for a very long time and this is an incredible academy. I’m a very tiny little man and to find other tiny little men to train with is always difficult. This place has the highest level Jiu jitsu in the tiniest little package.
Highly recommend Bourbon Submission Academy. My children attend class on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s and love it. The instructors are great with the kids and very knowledgeable!
