Dropped into Rob’s no gi class tonight - really nice training environment, class was well structured for all levels and good tough rounds to finish.

Great Academy..Me and my partner just moved to Leeds and we went here for a class at it was amazing! 10/10. The place was super clean (which is very important for a martial arts academy imo). And the instructor Fred was very kind and accommodating… the people training there a also very friendly and helpful. Amazing place. 100% getting the membership! 🤝🏽

I first joined Scramble as somebody with no experience with BJJ, and found the concept of partaking in a sport like this a bit daunting. Everybody in the academy welcomed me in from my first session, with all the members and coaches being super friendly and welcoming. Training here made my transition into BJJ a lot more comfortable, and the quality of everything within the gym really helped me in curating my love for this sport. All of the facilities here are of super high standard, there are multiple rooms, good quality changing rooms and an S&C section. The mats are well cared for and the gym is super clean. The coaching is top notch, with well achieved and professional coaches running sessions every day of the week. Everyone is super approachable and will always help with any questions you have. If you’re in or around Leeds, I’d definitely recommend training here. It is worth the trip!

Having 8 years experience training at different gyms bjj gyms, i can say scramble academy Leeds is top quality. The class structure makes it comfortable and accessible for beginners while also allowing more experienced people to experiment with techniques and be playful when drilling. I felt like they do a great job especially easing beginners into the sport, not throwing them into the deep end straight away but making them comfortable and confident. The coaches were very helpful and give a lot of useful details to any questions you have and I learnt a lot from my short time there. The gym feels like it has created a great culture where everyone wants to help each other get better, but also is quite relaxed and there is no pressure. The facilities are very clean, big mat space, decent sized changing rooms. I had a great time during the week I trained there, everyone was extremely friendly and I’ll definitely be returning when I’m in the area again.

An absolutely brilliant gym. I trained BJJ and wrestling here for around 4 months while working in Leeds and had an amazing time (easily one of the highlights for me during my time living in the city). A super high-level place to train, but also a very welcoming environment and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. Met and rolled with some fantastic people (special shout out to the coaches who I was able to learn from and that helped me massively - Rob, Ritchie, Ryan and Fred). Would 100% recommend Scramble Academy Leeds for anyone looking to train martial arts in Leeds, and I hope to be able to return and train again here in the future. Thanks guys, it has been a pleasure.

I’ve been training at Scramble Academy Leeds for 8 months, starting as a white belt, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience so far. The instructors (Fred, Mike, Richie, Ryan) are knowledgeable and patient, breaking things down into easy to understand steps. The Sunday beginner classes are recommended for first timers, quieter, with more personalised attention, which makes it easier to focus and learn at your own pace. The gym is clean, well equipped, and has a fantastic community with a range of all competencies. I’ve seen steady improvement in my skills which is the overall goal. So If you’re starting out or looking to level up, I highly recommend this gym!

I visited this gym for a trial day. The owner was very helpful, offering a tour around the gym and showing me the gym’s facilities. Everyone was helpful and I’d recommend this gym, whether you’re a new fighter or you’re experienced and looking to develop your game

Went in for a BJJ taster session and absolutely loved it. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the instructor took the time to explain things in detail to me as a beginner. I've signed up and I am looking forward to training there!

Welcoming, laid-back vibes, well appointed, exceptionally clean. I've trained in lots of different gyms over 11 years of training, can attest this place has very high technical standards across all belts. Lots of positional sparring and good rolls after. Will come again when I'm back in Leeds.
