Wave is a great BJJ gym with a very friendly atmosphere, high quality instruction and challenging rolls. Lorenzo is an excellent head coach, always willing to answer questions and help us delve further into the techniques we're training. The gym also just relocated to this great new location on Chiswick High Rd and now has a lovely café space, showers and a fitness gym! Come join us! :)

I worked out quite hard here. The instructors were very friendly, and my fellow trainees worked hard, so my skills improved very quickly. Since I don't spar in the morning, it's great to go in the afternoon for some sparring. June 2023

Amazing martial arts club with a focus on mastering techniques through sparring and good quality teaching. The culture is excellent from the top down, and teachers and fellow students are all helpful and keen to share their knowledge.

By far the best BJJ gym in the area. A great place to train no matter what your experience level with a great mix of structured lessons and lots of open mats to refine your techniques. Everyone at all levels including the instructors are really welcoming and there's a real sense of community in the club. Felt really welcomed from the first trial lesson onwards and haven't looked back since. Lesson times are really practical and there's none of the stuffy rules etc that you find at other gyms . Everything is super relaxed and importantly there's no strict punishments or exclusions for turning up late. London life obviously means you might not be able to get somewhere exactly on time and the instructors are just happy you're taking time out to train. Lorenzo the owner/lead instructor is great. A Roger Gracie black belt who really knows how to coach people up through the belts and caters to everyone whether you're doing it for fitness, self defence or competition. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Get in touch and give one of the free trial classes a go and you'll be hooked.

Fantastic BJJ Gym with excellent coaches and lovely students! I felt very welcome on day one and learnt a lot from some very talented practitioners! Would highly recommend this community over a larger chain gym.

As a woman it can be a bit daunting joining a BJJ gym, but everyone at Wave has been really lovely and welcoming and it quickly feels comfortable. I really enjoy the women’s only class on Saturday’s and the relaxed atmosphere of the gym. Definitely worth coming down for a free trial sesh. Highly recommend.

I came here as a visitor from Germany. Wave is very close to Stamford Brook tube station. It's a very good Bjj club where I've learned a lot in a few days. People there are very nice. There's no "you can't ask a higher belt to roll with you" - attitude and no reckless behaviour on the mat. Fully recommend a visit!

Fantastic place to learn BJJ at your own pace. Lorenzo is an exceptional guy to learn from. Overall, very warm and friendly environment to learn and practice BJJ.
