My son recently joined the Jiu Jitsu class at AOM. He is a super active and energetic 9 y.o, diagnosed with ADHD, developmental trauma and soon to be assessed for ODD. For all these reasons, we gave it a lot of thought if he should join a JJ class or not, as in the past we had tried therapeutic boxing as part of his school SENCO programme with no much success. So finding the right environment was really important. It was a friend that recommended this club. Rad, his professor, is the type of instructor that has the right balance of being firm while also being patient, and supportive. And we felt this is very important for a neurodiverge child as they can benefit from boundaries to help them feel more safe, especially in martial arts where excitement can escalate. Rad was very clear in his communication and I feel that worked particularly well for my son. He loves his instructor, he is very focused during the class and super motivated. He is literally counting the days 😄 I couldn't recommend this club more highly.

I attended a BJJ drop-in session and had a great experience. Everyone was welcoming, and the training was both enjoyable and well run. The atmosphere was friendly and respectful throughout. I'd happily recommend this gym and would definitely visit again.

Amazing place to train & would thoroughly recommend for anyone new to BJJ or looking for somewhere else to train. Classes are longer than most other schools and taught in a knowledgeable and fun manner either teammates encouraging you to push yourself further. Rad & Lise have created a welcoming, friendly environment in their AOM family ❤️

I am new to BJJ and I was welcomed here with open arms. There is a great atmosphere which is fun, friendly and professional. With the bonus option of Capoeira! I look forward to refining my mental and physical artistic skills into the future with AoM.
