Love this place and the people in it! Not only something I get to do with my family, but now so many people in the gym are my family. Highly recommend for anyone old, young, in great shape or not in shape at all, but especially for women! Great place for us women (and our daughters 🥰) to train and learn how to be confident as well as how to protect ourselves!
The instructors are awesome and break down techniques in a way that’s easy to understand. Everyone there is super welcoming with a variety of skill levels. If you’re looking for a high quality BJJ gym with great instruction and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place!
The instructors at Axiom are extremely knowledgeable and provide detailed instruction while teaching techniques. There is an emphasis on safety during rolls. The mats are also always kept clean and everyone is supportive and pushes each other to get better.
After my old jiu jitsu gym closed down, we moved to Axiom. I've trained with Matt, Jim, and Jay for almost 4 years now. I've made many friends along the way and has always been a nice environment for anybody. Everyone will help you and make you better. Shout out to my Axiom Family!!
Each instructor has a wealth of knowledge and teaches different approaches and strategies which I really appreciate. The mats are cleaned after every class. I really appreciate the emphasis on safety. There were a few times when I was practicing against a higher belt and they would stop my or their movement if something I was doing was becoming unsafe. I feel that my self-defense is becoming well-rounded because: kickboxing to keep an attacker at bay, if they rush me then Judo to throw them to the ground allowing me to move away, and if they drag me down with them then BJJ to neutralize them.
Axiom is a great gym! The instructors teach excellent technique while creating a positive environment. They seem to genuinely care about the students and promote a familial setting. Emphasis is placed on team safety and taking care of your training partner. If you want to learn BJJ, judo, or kickboxing, Axiom is THE place in north central Washington!
After the first month of watching my kids training with the professors I couldn’t resist the urge to join in. What a great family friendly program and great place to get a quality first experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Great instruction. Great place to train. Great kids classes. All skill levels are welcome from those who want to be serious competitors to the weekend warriors who just want to learn something new.
Axiom is a place where your teammates and coaches become family. It's a beautiful, clean gym. If you want to try Jiujitsu, Axiom is the place to discover what you're made of. 10/10.
Ps ladies--dont leave all the fun to the men! The group of ladies at Axiom are wonderfully supportive and safe. It's a great experience for the entire family.
The instruction at this school is top-notch! Jim, Jay and Matt are incredible instructors and Wenatchee is fortunate to have a BJJ school with three black belts. There are also some great brown and purple belts to train with. The vibe at this school is chill and welcoming. If you have ever wanted to try BJJ, or are from another school and visiting the area, you should check out Axiom Jiu-Jitsu.
Was visiting in town, and my daughter needed a gym to stay current (for an upcoming tournament). Both professors (Jay and Jim?) were absolutely outstanding! In just two classes, my daughter received more hands'-on instruction than she has received in the past four months at her own gym. Not only that, they took the time to explain the "why" to the students - so critical. If we ever move to Wenatchee, there's no question on what BJJ gym she will join. And the parents there proved once again that "BJJ people" are some of the best people to hang out with! Major props to Axiom BJJ.
