My daughter loves training with proffesor breno! He is good with the kids and they have fun while learning. Her skill level since joining has just continued to skyrocket....1.5yrs later and she is now competing and honing her skills. #bjjforlife
Best place you could learn and practice Jiu Jitsu! There’s no better teacher than Breno. We are very lucky to have a teacher in Yakima with so much passion and skill. For kids wanting to learn he’s also has a class for them. They get to have fun, make new friends and learn Jiu Jitsu from an amazing teacher.
Hands down, the best Jiu Jitsu in town! I have been training here for almost a year and a half (March 2023) and my Jiu Jitsu has improved exponentially! Everyone here is so nice and friendly and willing to help anyone, especially if you’re brand new to the sport. Another huge advantage is Breno also referees, so he is able to notice the trends in competition and which techniques are working. He then brings those to class making sure our Jiu Jitsu evolves with the sport and we don’t get left behind. So if you want to learn world-class Jiu Jitsu in a friendly and welcoming environment, look no further!
My family (myself, husband, & 6 YO son) has trained at Breno Bittencourt BJJ academy for a short time but have some prior experience in BJJ. Our son has quickly adjusted to the higher intensity training, the practice and application of takedowns, submissions and also daily “live rolling” with his teammates (with adult supervision and coaching). Before training here, we used to need to force him onto the mat to train, but since training at this new academy he willingly goes out there and has developed grit and a more strong and positive mindset on and off the mat. He developed friends quickly too! The caliber of training for adults and children is high and whether you are a beginner wanting to get into shape or an athlete wanting to compete, this school is the one to choose. Professor Breno is also very humble and his actions speak louder than his words. Great family-friendly environment too. Happy to train there! Oss

Breno is a high level competitor with a wealth of techniques. He is very knowledgeable and excellent at teaching subtle details that will improve your game. Whether you are just starting your journey or looking to level up your game this is where you want to be.
I've been practicing jiu-jitsu fpr a few years and now that I'm 60 and getting over a knee and hip replacement in the last few year's and a broken leg professor Breno Bittencourt has accommodated me in every way possible to help me succeed in training and rolling with qualified and ranked practitioner's so that I don't get smashed,hurt or over do it.
Great facility, nice rest rooms,new mats,easy access and most of all a very welcoming atmosphere and world class athlete and professor.
I'm a disabled veteran and I feel much appreciated and taken care of.

This is by far the best BJJ gym in Yakima! The people are great and Breno brings an arsenal of techniques. He is a great teacher and I love watching all the kids grow in their abilities and confidence as they learn the basics of BJJ. I recommend Breno Bittencourt BJJ to anyone looking to grow in self defense, competition, and just a healthy way of life.
High level, world class bjj instruction from a very accomplished bjj athlete and coach. Great gym and friendly environment for all levels, beginner to advanced, kids and adults.
Breno teaches very high level jiu jitsu everyone in the gym is respectful it’s like a family environment highly recommended if you are looking to get into jiu jitsu or just looking for a high level bjj gym
My 6 year old and I just started about a month ago. My class is right after his. Everyone is really nice and Breno is very patient with the kids class. Breno is also very accomplished so the training is top notch. I like that you just pay a weekly fee and then you come on the days that fit your schedule.
When we first came in it was very welcoming and warm to walk into. My son made friends right away. They are very uplifting and positive with their teaching. I can't wait to see how far my son gets on his journey.
Breno Bittencourt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is an amazing family oriented gym with an incredible world champion black belt instructor! There is also Muay Thai and wrestling classes offered. My 9yr old loves his Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai classes that he attends there!
