I did trial classes at a couple places and this is the one that got me hooked. Jin is a fantastic instructor -- clear, engaging, and great at breaking down concepts. The culture at Workshop is also great — right in the sweet spot where people take training and improving seriously, but still have fun along the way. Lastly, I really appreciate that they've made a lot of effort to be convenient with scheduling and class times - as someone with a complicated work schedule, the addition of a 7am class, weekend open mats, and swapping evening classes around has made it way easier to train consistently. Overall, hope I'm training at Workshop for a long time.

Workshop is the first and only gym I visited when looking for somewhere to train, because I signed up immediately. I have developed skills I would think myself incapable of having before I started, and that is all because of the incredibly welcoming environment, the supportive community, and the serious and dedicated coaching that all comes from this gym. If you are looking for somewhere to change your body and health, develop high level functional martial arts skills, train for fights, or even just have fun an dab makes friends, there isn’t a better place than right here.

I’ve been training at Workshop for the past 1.5 years and it’s been amazing. The instruction is tailored to you, from hobbyists, families or competitive athletes. The gym is clean and classes are offered throughout the day. The people are awesome and welcoming. I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve had a great experience training Jiujitsu at Workshop with each of the instructors, Jin Yung, Chris, and Kevin. As someone with no prior experience, I have found the instruction helpful, detailed, and most of all, encouraging and welcoming. The team here has created a great community that travel from both near and far to train here. I highly recommend checking it out if you have that seed of interest in Muay Thai or Jiujitsu like I did.

No egos, no judgment—just top-tier coaching in Muay Thai, strength, kids program, and BJJ. The fundamentals, intermediate and advanced BJJ classes cover standing and ground techniques in an organized and thoughtful curriculum. They also weave in specific competition contexts, historical perspectives, and a multidisciplinary grappling approach (like Judo and wrestling) that connects everything. Also, I am very impressed by the gym's management for being totally competent and capable of fostering and maintaining a safe and supportive environment and culture for women. The respect, support, and atmosphere are unmatched. Whether you’re a competitor, hobbyist, or total beginner, parent or child, this gym feels like a place you can trust to deliver the best of the best and feel welcomed always.
