Dropped in to this gem of a gym from California. The team here was extremely friendly, informative and inviting. I had no problem plugging right in with the team. The training was very thorough. From start to finish coach Steven was involved with everyone checking technique, giving instructions, pushing us with encouragement. I noticed he was very involved with the entire class. From phone call to the completion of training American Top Team KC is a great team of individuals, if I lived in KC I’d need to look no further. Thank you Jason and Steven for your hospitality and an exceptional experience, Gracias!

I've been attending Welcome Mat since they opened in Lenexa, and I am so happy with my training. It's a great martial arts studio that covers all the necessities to be successful. I always get a great workout in a fun and stress free environment.

Jason High and LC Davis and the rest of the ATTHD staff are simply amazing. You're guaranteed to sweat a bunch, hurt, but afterwards feel like you've not only gotten a great workout in, but also learned a thing or 2. Seems more like a giant family than a mma gym

I love how close knit and competitive it is there. It's competitive in a way that makes everyone want to reach their goals. I came here 3 years ago and I've lost between 50-70 pounds in no time at all. I've learned so many different martial arts and learned them wel. It definitely feels like a family here and would recommend them to not only the eager MMA athlete but for anyone . They have great coaches and great clases for both fitness but fighting and self defense.

Poor experience, purchased a Groupon and was pretty excited to get back into jujitsu and Muay Thai after the army, Went to the Gym and they were pretty rude l, guy at the desk said he ran the classes and just gave me a form to sign and asked when I was coming in ? Didn’t show me the gym, explain anything and it was pretty uncomfortable, than because the owner was gone for a competition he didn’t take my Groupon so it expired and now I’m out of a month of classes that I paid for on Groupon, Poor experience for a gym with good reviews.
