We are very pleased with art of jujitsu! Our son has been going there for a few months now and he absolutely loves it! The coaches are so caring and give personalized attention to each child. It is a welcoming low pressure atmosphere yet the kids are encouraged to do their best.

We have been attending WoJJ weekly for about a year now. We put both of our girls (5 & 7) into it, and they have absolutely loved it. They have learned some new skills, but most importantly, are learning how to move their bodies in different ways and advance in their coordination at a much quicker pace. The atmosphere is great. All of the kids get along, they are learning how to respect themselves and others, and it is a joy to show up every week. The coaches are exceptional. They do a great job of keeping it fun, keeping the kids engaged, but also actually coaching them; on their technique as well as their attitudes. It’s a breath of fresh air to have coaches that care and are also stern. We take our kids to learn all of these new things, but also like to have coaches who will be stern with them so that they can learn the respect and discipline parts that will carry over to every day life as they mature. Overall we love it and will continue to come for many years ahead!
This place is amazing. There are classes for all belts/levels, and you get a sense of community really quickly. I was intimated by this sport (especially as a female athlete), but this is a very welcoming environment. Professor Nobuo and the WOJJ coaches know you by name and care about your progress. You get a lot of 1:1 time and their unique teaching styles enrich the learning experience. Can’t recommend it enough.

Way of Jiu Jitsu is amazing in so many ways! The academy has high quality Professsors and coaches. The kids program is very structured and helps kids build confidence and strength! The adult program is amazing, and I appreciate the Japanese traditions that are incorporated. Professor Nobuo, the owner, takes time to help each student build upon their own strengths and helps improve their weaknesses. He brings the best out in all of us! Way of Jui Jitsu has a great welcoming and supportive environment for people of all ages. I had trained in BJJ when I was young at a really hardcore gym where many of the young men were trying to get into MMA fighting. Great for a young aggressive man in his 30s, but I didn't really want that this time for my teens and I as I head into my 50s. I had also earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do when I was in high school and competed in college, so knew I wanted more training in practical techniques, and a great workout, not learning about meditation, bowing, and kata. This place is perfect for us. There are women to train with my daughter, and I'm pretty excited that she is learning practical techniques to defend herself. My son loves it of course, BJJ is a lot like wrestling. I was nervous coming back now that I'm old and out of shape, but the atmosphere at this gym is so supportive it was a breeze. In fact, the only one that laughed at me rolling around on the mat like an an old landed manatee was my daughter. The kids and I have great fun, and it's a great bonding experience to train together. I highly recommend for anyone.
This is my go-to training spot on my many travels to the Denver area!! You’re not going to find a better BJJ mat vibe, but besides that, the instruction, professionalism, knowledge, and skill set there will blow your mind. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, feels like coming home every time, I bring new friends to try it every time I go. My daughter has been enrolled since she was 4. She enjoys the lessons and the instructors. They are very knowledgeable, caring, and provide an atmosphere that is, both, educational and fun. I highly recommend this studio and suggest that parents take advantage of the 6 week trial period (which includes the uniform) for their children.

I've been going to Way Of Jiu Jitsu for a year and some change and have found a new sense of aspiration. The instructors are very enthusiastic when they talk about technique and are always attentive when students have questions. The instructors also give the students a technical breakdown of the move so they can execute it in applicable situations outside of class . The students also are very welcoming and provide any newcomers with advice on the moves taught making for a collaborative environment where everyone works together to get better. Overall I have enjoyed my time at Way Of Jiu Jitsu and would recommend those who are looking to get into martial arts to give this school a try. I look forward to seeing new faces and to continue my journey and reach new heights with my friends and instructors.
A great place to go if you want to learn jujitsu and meet great people, i enrolled my daughter and she was nervous and after her first few classes wanted to quit but now after overcoming her fear she loves going and it is something that she really looks forward to

Been coming to Way of Jiu Jitsu for several months now and I would consider it my second home. Professor Nobuo, and the coaches that teach are very informative, and wicked dedicated to the students. I started training Jiu-Jitsu in January 2015 and have trained at a few Gyms. I find Way of Jiu-Jitsu Stanley a great place to start training or to continue training. It is a professional, welcoming with highly knowledgeable Instructors. If you are looking for self-defense, exercise, competition training and mental discipline, Way of Jiu-Jitsu is a great place to start. There is also nothing like making new friends, building new relationships while getting in shape and learning a new skillset. As the Jiu-Jitsu proverb goes, "If you can't choke your friends, who can you choke." :-)
My 5-year-old son has been attending classes here for about five months now, and I am very happy with everything. It has been great to watch his confidence grow each week, and he's learning some good life lessons from the training. As far as Way of Jiu Jitsu goes, the facilities are clean, the coaches are friendly and helpful, and everything is organized and communicated very well.

Way of Jiu Jitsu is a great school, where I have been able to find a common activity with my teenage son. The instructors are very good (and patient). Jiu Jitsu is a great sport, a great way to get fit, and I have found a family that really looks after each other.
I'm new to Jiu Jitsu and been going to WOJJ Stanley for 2 months, Professor Nobu Yagai and coach Jalen are great instructors! The atmosphere is chill and the team is super helpful to white belts like me, classes have beginners and a experiences students alike.... highly recommend this school!
My Kids have been attending Way of Jiu Jitsu for over a year at the Stanley. The location is awesome and right next to Stapleton. I am really happy to have found this academy. The school teaches discipline and focus and most importantly how to cultivate a martial arts mind. The kids have a good mix of learning technique, discipline and having fun. I love this academy and all that is has to offer! I love it so much my whole family is now doing Jiu Jitsu at Way of Jiu Jitsu. It's a safe place to learn and practice Jiu Jitsu for adults and kiddos!
