  Known Josh and his sister for over 10 years. Solid guy; very funny and knowledgeable in BJJ. Safe place to start your kids BJJ journey, he's vetted and works with kids daily. He got his black belt from a reputable instructor and spars with anyone. If you're an adult being apprehensive about trying BJJ for the first time this is the place. The place is clean and lots of mat space too. Also if you're visiting from another gym bring a white gi.

  My kids love Wavebreaker! My family knew very little about Jiu Jitsu when my daughter first joined Wavebreaker, but we quickly caught on. Within just a few weeks, we noticed a big difference in her confidence and focus. Professor Josh and Coach Christine create a training environment that is both fun and disciplined. After watching classes for a few months, my son was eager to join as well. We’re so happy we found Wavebreaker — it’s been an amazing experience for our family.

  My son Gyan absolutely loved his time at this jiu-jitsu school! Josh and Christine have been incredible — patient, encouraging, and always supportive. They helped Gyan build confidence, discipline, and strength while keeping every class fun and positive. We truly appreciate all the effort they put into helping him improve. Thanks also to Josh’s dad for always being so kind and welcoming. We’re grateful for the wonderful experience and highly recommend this place to any parent looking for a great martial arts environment for their kids!

  Our son is a proud founding member of Wavebreaker Jujitsu, and it has been an incredible experience from day one. Under the guidance of Professor Josh and Christine, he has not only developed strong Jujitsu skills but has also grown so much in confidence and physical strength.
