When I first walked into this gym as a beginner I felt so welcome straight away. The coaches are brilliant and will push you to improve. My younger sister enjoys the kids’ classes a lot. Since training at Viva both my fitness levels and my confidence have improved so much, cannot recommend this gym highly enough
Posted 7 years agoHaving trained at a number of gyms in the Greater Manchester area over a period of roughly 10 years, I can say that Viva is a fantastic BJJ and MMA gym. Whether you are just starting out on your journey or you are already an adept practitioner, there are classes to suit your needs. The coaching and instruction is second to none. All coaches are proven experts in their field, having dedicated most of their lives to the combat arts. All coaches take time to assess and advise students on how to best make progress ensuring constant consistent development. For anyone wanting to really dedicate themselves to combat sports whether for competition or self defence there is private tuition available both for BJJ, Kickboxing and MMA. Finally, and equally as important, the atmosphere and environment at the gym is friendly and welcoming. I am proud to be part of this gym and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Posted 7 years agoTerrible BJJ gym. Treats visitors horribly and upper belts have ego problems. As someone who's visited many gyms whilst travelling and had great experiences everywhere else, this gym is by FAR the worst. Would rather travel miles for an alternative gym. Avoid.

Posted 2 years agoGreat training environment, great coaches and a friendly atmosphere. There are no egos, just like minded people who want to train and better themselves. Been training at the gym since it opened and with the coaches long before that. Highly recommended!
