Every time we go to Steve's, it's always a brilliant atmosphere. Mats are sharp, music is on point, and there's always refreshments. The range of classes is brilliant, and it is very much family focused 🙌
Posted 1 year agoAmazing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Gym that offers a fantastic range of Gi and No-Gi Classes throughout the week. Lots of time on the mats rolling and detailed tutorials from experienced instructors have made it the perfect place to improve my BJJ. The club’s atmosphere is fun and welcoming and there is a real drive to improve and get better that runs through the club, this comes from Steve Henshall whose BJJ knowledge and personality as an instructor is top drawer. I have been a member for 6 Months now and the classes are the highlight of my week. If you are looking for a BJJ Gym in Manchester I recommend you check this place out.

Posted 1 year agoThe head coach Ste is a top class bloke and brilliant teacher. You definitely get your money’s worth and see very quick results. The gym has a good vibe, is clean and everyone is super welcoming, from the experienced to the beginners. If you are thinking of starting, just do it as there is 0 awkwardness and no risk of tying. I would highly recommend and have to friends and family who hopefully will join the community.
Posted 4 years agoSo glad I found “The attic”. Ste is brilliant and allows everyone to develop their own game and grow while providing the right level of guidance. Supportive group. All levels. From the moment I walked in on my first day I knew I’d found the right place to train. I’m an ageing hobbyist but still get to roll with tough competitors who are gentle enough while challenging me appropriately and allowing me to learn. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
