We joined UpLevel Waxhaw in October right as they began the transition from the previous school and it's been exciting to see the school grow. We really love how they embrace a family centered program. All four of us take class together and it has been a great bonding experience. There are students of all ages from 3-seniors. The instructors (Mr & Mrs Bond, Mr St. Clair, Mr Barnes, Mr Patrick) are all fantastic. They are able to have classes with all age ranges and to be able help the younger kids who have a harder time with focus while still making the class fun and challenging for the adults/more advanced students. We owe a big thank you to Master Mun for inviting us in that day in October and introducing us to martial arts at UpLevel. To Black Belt and Beyond!

UpLevel has been a fantastic experience for our family. Mr and Mrs Bond are wonderful teachers and are so patient with our small children. The price is competitive and reasonable and the team at UpLevel has been great to work with. Our children are learning so much more than karate. They are learning respect, discipline, and self control. We are very happy there!

My son Tyler had his second day of class at Uplevel martial arts at Waxhaw. We are very happy with the decision we have made. The instructors, Mr. Bond and Mr. Patrick are the best. Very patient with my son, and the other younger students. They know how to make the class fun and safe, but also full of discipline. They also encourage the students to do their best in class and in every aspect of their life and are recognized for their efforts, therefore encouraging the leader behavior in every student. The instructors make it a point to make you feel as part of the family and get to know the students and the parents. Couldn't ask for anything more.

I went and took my son to a trial class because we were looking for something closer to where we lived and we were very disappointed. It looks great they have cute uniforms and belts but the instructors are not trained in martial arts whatsoever other than what they've been trained by up-level. There were students who were goofing around and not standing still not focused and not corrected. I guess it's good for families or students who are just looking to gather some sort of experience but certainly nothing of true substance.
