I have been to several gyms all around the US and this is absolutely amazing and one of the best gyms I have ever had the pleasure of training at. The owner and coach Avery is an absolutely amazing and genuine good person. The atmosphere of the gym is friendly and welcoming while also producing top notch competition Team. If your in the area the gyms has so many times available for classes to fit your schedule. They have classes for kids at a young age and there was even people in their 60s training. Best gym I have been to in a long time and I will absolutely be back to visit.

The receptionist Sabrina told me to try the women’s self defense class, I’ve never tried anything like that before but after I went I thought it was informing and fun. The instructor Brittany was amazing she was understanding of how me and my group were beginners and made us feel comfortable. We learned cool self defense moves and i’ll definitely be back!

I visited this academy for a Heroes Jiu Jitsu event. It is an amazing facility, and everyone was super welcoming. The owner and members of the academy were awesome and so eager to have all of us there. I hope to visit again the next time I’m in the area. If you are lucky enough to live near this place, please check it out. Thanks a ton!!!

Love this place! Great culture and family-like atmosphere. It feels like you can get whatever you're looking for here (as casual or as serious as you want to be). A great place to learn and train. Looking forward to starting my kids here when they're old enough.

I love this place they are great with the kids and super patient. I love how they give kids a free week trial to try their programs and see if it will be a good fit for them. My kids have a blast everytime they come to class.

I just started going to Indian Land MMA about a month ago now. I LOVE it! I am still fairly new to BJJ and I have learned so much in the short amount of time I have been here. The coaches are great! I love that they have an organized website where you can access everything. They were so easy to get in contact with and offered a great group rate for my boyfriend and I since we started here together. I highly recommend this gym for anyone!

My daughter is going off to college this fall and I thought a self-defense course would make me feel better about her being on her own. After signing her up I decided to take the course as well. It’s a five week course that meets twice a week. The techniques are cumulative and the instructor provided several tips, tricks, areas of awareness, and things to think about when put in a possible dangerous situation. The instructor was very engaging, insightful, and realistic. I enjoyed the course’s format, which allowed us to practice the techniques learned in class. I feel better knowing that we have the training needed if we get out of a situation where we could be attacked. I have and will continue to recommend anyone taking this course.

I went to Indian Land MMA to take a five week self defense class. This is an intense class to take, but I will also say this is the best place you will learn to defend yourself. Most self defense classes I have taken gave me brief introductions into what may happen, but in five weeks I took this SUPER HANDS ON class I learned skills that I feel will get me out of a situation (if I were ever in one). I highly recommend this class to anyone out there that wants to take self defense and actually come out with results.

I have been studying martial arts with the Richard family for over a year now. They are patient and informative in their teachings of the arts. I highly enjoy it and would recommend any of their classes to anyone willing to get in shape or learn a competitive martial art.

Smart, useable techniques taught by real fighters. I'm an adult student of brazilian jiu jitsu, and I was looking for a place to work on striking with other grownups. This is where it's at. The work is always a challenge, but everyone keeps coming back. These guys are the real deal.

I've been training there for several years. The program has evolved greatly since it began in his garage. The curriculum is driven purely from a self defense standpoint. Everything taught translates from the gym to the street and is and will push you mentally and physically. I highly recommend ILMAC!!!

I've been a student for about 12 weeks. Having no previous knowledge of mixed martial arts the instructors have patiently and methodically worked with me to cultivate my potential. Couldn't be happier in my new journey.
