The OG spot when I discovered JiuJitsu - walked in with no experience with Martial Arts and fell in love with BJJ! Professor Ben is a great teacher and the whole academy has developed an awesome culture built around team and personal growth!

They generally have 2 experienced fighters training each class. The level of detail is quite intricate. The coaches are friendly but will push the athletes. They know each kid by name and give them fairly constant, specific training. It's a very professional outfit.

Best gym around! Professor Ben will whip you or your kids into shape in no time. You'll also be able to snap, crackle, and pop your partner in so many different ways you never thought possible. Have trouble discipiling your kids? No worries, he'll whip them into shape and teach them manners along the way. Looking for new friends? The parents of the students couldn't be any more inviting. Stop by, try it out, and I guarantee I'll see you again!

If you don’t train at BC you should!! The people in the academy I train with have become my second family. I started training in early February and almost immediately fell in love with BJJ, a lot of has to do with the welcoming environment that professor Ben has created. It’s all love and HARD training when you walk through the doors. I can’t say enough good thing about it.

After turning 50, I knew I needed to start working out. About 2 1/2 years ago, a friend took me to a kickboxing class with Coach Ben - who is also the owner of the gym. After my first class - red-faced and overheated - I realized that I needed to keep doing this. I have averaged about 3 workouts a week since then. When the pandemic hit, I was worried that I would lose my momentum and stop my newly acquired exercise routine - but Coach Ben had online classes for Adult Cardio set up on Zoom within a week. I am so happy that I have been able to continue my workout routine throughout the pandemic craziness of 2020 and 2021. Coach Ben is great. He keeps me motivated and encourages me so I don't slack during workouts. He continues to offer online adult cardio classes, and he is offering in-person kickboxing classes at the gym as well. Because of the shutdown last year, I even got a kickboxing bag that I use at home - which is a surprise to me and everyone who knows me!! I highly recommend Coach Ben and his team - no matter your fitness level. If you are looking for a new workout place, or interested in starting up a new exercise routine check out BC Kickboxing & BJJ.
