Great club! I dropped in while visiting and felt very welcome. Fantastic atmosphere—highly recommend for anyone wanting to try BJJ.
My two sons have been attending this jiu-jitsu club for nearly two years, and I am very happy with the experience. Coach Sohail is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely understanding and has created an environment where my sons feel supported and challenged in all the right ways. Their confidence has grown alot since joining, and I've been really pleased with their progress. Highly recommended!
JJSU lessons are professional, engaging, and enjoyable. My children are always happy to go, they learn a lot, and come away more confident and motivated."
Don't want to right this review because this place is amazing and I don't want everyone to know about it. But I would not be doing it justice this club is amazing, a real community feel. The coaches are knowledgeable and seek to get the most out of their students. Always encouraging and supportive. Keep it up guys.
Enrolling my son in UMMA BJJ has truly been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He has learned so much—not just the techniques and skills on the mat, but also confidence, discipline, respect, and resilience. It’s been amazing to watch his growth, both physically and mentally. The environment is positive and supportive, and he looks forward to every class. I couldn’t be happier with the progress he’s made, and I’m grateful for everything jiu-jitsu has brought into his life. Highly recommended! Thank you so much to Sohail (the coach) for always keeping me in the loop. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into communicating with me and making sure I’m aware of my son’s progress. It means a lot to know he’s in such good hands. Your support, guidance, and dedication don’t go unnoticed—thank you for everything you do.
I enrolled my 7-year-old at UMMA BJJ and honestly, I’m impressed. The coaches know exactly how to handle kids — firm when needed, patient, and they make training fun at the same time. My child picked things up quicker than I expected and actually looks forward to every session, which says a lot. Great atmosphere, proper discipline, and you can see the progress week by week. Definitely worth it for anyone thinking about putting their kids into martial arts.
I sent my children to learn Bjj here and they really benefitted. Recently, I’ve started attending the adult classes myself and am learning a lot and enjoying them. Great coaching and atmosphere. The lads at this club really make you feel welcome and part of the family. 7*

Absolutely brilliant. Kids have learnt a lot and still learning. The teachers are patient understanding and very willing to assist and listen to parents. I have a good rapport and regular progress reports with the main teacher sohail. Overall great skills learnt which they can take with them into life as it progresses. I would highly recommend this for all kids, these are life skills for our kids so important. Keep up the great work.
