The most inspirational sessions delivered by the most inspirational and caring Coach! My son has been attending sessions for four years and has developed in mind, body, heart and soul! Absolutely recommend for anyone who wants their child to learn the skill of MMA from an expert as well support their child with developing discipline and expertise in themselves and Sambo. I have been attending Counter Combat Club for 5 years and in that time I have gained many friends, completed numerous belt tests, have learnt a variety of martial art moves, under Coach Rustam and other coaches that work alongside him, and have had the opportunity to participate in and win several national competitions. I have gained confidence and believe that Coach Rustam’s skilled teaching methods are beneficial to boys and girls, I definitely recommend Counter Combat Club for all. 5 stars from me!!
My children have been training with Coach Rustam and his team for a number of years now. Both children have won national/British championships - this is down to the dedication of the Coach. Highly recommended for all ages and abilities.
My son has been attending this gym for over a year. Not only has he learnt many fighting / grappling skills but also has built a great relationship with other students and coaches. Each coach at this gym is understanding and passionate about each and every student and teach their students not only skills of fighting but also valuable lessons for life ( mannerism, respect , kindness ,etc)
Coach Rustam is amazing. He explains things clearly, pushes you just enough, and makes every session fun. I’ve improved so much because of him. My son has also become a much better fighter under Coach Rustams Tutelage. Great coach, great club — highly recommend! 💪🔥🔥
My son was with another place for 2/3years and wasn’t progressing in real life he was getting graded every few months and was passing he was also getting higher coloured belts (2 away from black belt) but he didn’t have no confidence in himself when he was in sticky situations. I then came across CCC my nephew who attends told me about this place. My son has been here for a few months and loves it, he has grown in confidence, stamina, he comes home and shows us everything he learns, he does home workouts out too what they teach at the club, he comes out with a smile on his face every time and says he had a lot of fun. The coaches are incredible. I stayed watched for my sons first session and can say I’m really happy with the way the coaches treat the kids, how they speak to them how the kids understand, they explain EVERY SINGLE MOVE with so much attention to detail. They go around watching and helping every child out. Thank you so much to all the staff and CCC and continue the great work!
I do not know where to start from, the best coach I have had in my life. Not only does he teach martial skills and you grow physically but also mentally and spititually I have attained strength. By far the best sambo coach in the U.K.. It is a blessing in disguise to have someone from the kavkaz mountains train us. Who is 9 times world champion in sambo. Coach Rustam had helped me allot in journey of life and martial arts. A great mentor with intelligence, this is important factor as some coach just throw you in the deep end!. It is important to have the balance between training hard and smart. Insha'Allah many champs will come from this coach. This is not a place to just train but a place where you can navigate in life positively.
As MMA has evolved, in the early days the dominant martial art was BJJ. As time went on and the sport reached the heights that it has today, it’s clear that there is a martial art that stands out as the best base, in my opinion, for any aspiring martial artist that wants to learn a base that is worth learning, and this is Sambo. The proof is in the pudding. The fighters coming out of Chechnya and Dagestan have in recent years been extremely dominant against all other martial artists of different bases, and the common theme is Sambo. At CCC, you will have access to the best coaches that will allow you to develop your skills. Coach Rustam is a multiple time world champion in Sambo, so you are in the right place to learn what is in my opinion the best and most complete martial art on earth. And in addition, the rest of the coaches are also world class at what they do. They also offer boxing and Taekwando, so there is variety to add to one’s Arsenal if they so please. I am very glad to be a member of this gym, and am happy to be amongst great coaches and the friendly environment that exists amongst everyone there. Whether you want to compete, or whether you want to come and learn skills that will be useful for self defence, CCC will meet your needs.
Posted 2 years agoTHE best martial arts club in Birmingham and probably in the UK. You join the team , you join a family. Coaches have a wealth of real competition experience, so what you'll learn is REAL fighting. They truly care and will correct your technique promptly , not allowing you to pick up bad habits. Fellow students are amazing and there is a friendly but focused learning environment. Regardless of your age group or fitness level you will fit right in .
Posted 2 years agoLovely place and great coach who is so good with the kids. My son has been with this club for 9 months now and being trained by coach Rustum (9x Champion 🏆). He has made great fast progress and even won a,championship fight , this proves that coach Rustum is the Best 👌 coach as my son has made incredible progress. I would recommend this to all, you won't be disappointed.
Posted 2 years agoExcellent coach, comfortable environment for my boys. My 2 boys started year ago. They have gained a lot of confidence. My youngest who is 5 also joined few weeks ago. He's enjoying himself too.
Posted 3 years agoMy 3 boys joined this year in January. It has not even been a year and they have gained so much knowledge, techniques and confidence. Thanks to Sensi Rustum and his team. Highly recommend this club for boys of all ages.
