You couldn't ask for a better instructor than Mark Mortenson. He's more than just his insanely deep knowledge of BJJ; he's also one of the most inspiring men I've ever met in my life. He's the type of guy that can show you a whole new set of moves during class time, then teach you a whole new way of looking at how to attack your problems in life while chatting with you after class. Many of the things he's shared with me about BJJ and about life in general I'll take with me always.

Great place. I learned of the art from podcasts and was upfront about my interests. With my personal fitness history this has been an easy transition. Mark is personable and knowledgeable, will keep it fun but stay on task. I’m 3 weeks in and have started to make plans for the next few years of this journey. No doubt it is intimidating on your first day but by day 3 you will fall into routine and be excited for more. Update: I’m almost 2 years in and still loving it. I train close to 3 times a week. I have found myself having more patience, self confidence and an overall ability to stay calm in tense situations. If your waiting for a sign this is it!

The best place to train in the world. Professor Mortensen is an all around great person. He will push you as hard as you want... lightly, moderataly, hard, or best conditioned athlete on the planet level! Everyone in the gym is incredibile. Hard workers, very technical and intelligent. Tracks has all belt levels training there! It is a groovy place; jump on in the facility!
