Updating my review as made it back over there today. They've bought brand new twins new pads and belly pads and replaced the mats in the floors since my last visit... Literally so impressed to have great equipment at such an affordable price. Standard of coaching is top notch and students are super friendly and controlled in sparring (some of the lads went a bit harder with each other but with mutual consent!). Zero ego sparring, just everyone there to learn, improve and have fun. The biggest guy in there was the one that hit me the lightest. WOMEN PLEASE COME ALONG especially on Saturdays!!! It's safe for us 💃🏻🥳. Monday and Thursday nights are £10 for 1.5hrs. Saturday £15 for 2hrs 🤩 Original Review Below ==== Made it here for a session to train Muay Thai. It's so far from me but rejigging my diary so that I will be able to go down once a week. Great coaching and friendly students. Coach was fully engaged for the whole session (no messing about on his phone as you can sometimes see at other gyms). Really controlled sparring - everyone respected that I wanted to go light and I felt very safe. Great value at £10 walk in for 1.5hrs training. Looking forward to returning when I get my week rescheduled!
A fantastic gym with an amazing atmosphere! Coach Scott and the team are great trainers, attentive and knowledgeable. Massively recommend the White Collar Boxing competition or the separate sessions that take place throughout the week. Great place to hone your skills as a novice beginner or experienced boxer. Nice, wholesome family friendly gym. Suitable for all levels and abilities. They seem to encourage wellbeing and enrich the local youth. From improving personal fitness to training elite athletes. This gym really has a lot to offer.
