  I come from a Judo back ground and have done BJJ on and off, visiting numerous of different gyms over the years. I decided to start fresh at a new gym - Team Sukata Chester - Jay Ross I have been training there for almost 2 months now and I have never looked back since! Safe to say that I have found the perfect gym for me. Coach Jay is very welcoming and he supports and listens to me as an experienced fighter. Considering that this gym had only opened in just January this year, it has grown and grown! A very successful club with very welcoming students also. We all help and empower each other!This gym also has a great team of women, which is very beneficial for me as a female fighter! I love the atmosphere in this gym which makes this place different, it has such great energy and you are never treated as an outsider. I always come out of there buzzing. I have made friends for life there.

  I've known jay for nearly 7 years and he is the by far best bjj coach I've trained under, I like his training methods that much that I take my kids to the kids classes. Bjj is a full body work out and is highly recommended no matter your age or abilities. the hardest part of bjj is getting on the mats, be brave and give it a go

  Been training here about 4 months and can say it’s helped me both physically & mentally. Really good atmosphere in and out of the gym with the team & it also has a growing women’s team too who are all lovely.

  Tried my first session last week absolutely loved it . And have been back most days since . The coach there hay is very welcoming and so is all his students . Highly recommended
