If you have been to multiple schools and you couldn’t find your fit then come to Tawheed. The environment is great for you to learn and grow. The instructors have BJJ and MMA backgrounds so they know how to teach proper techniques. Many of the members compete so you’ll be shrouded by a growth mindset environment. I live far away from the school but decided to sign up because of the quality.
Posted 5 months agoMy son recently began taking classes here, and already I love the entire atmosphere and community of Tawheed Jiu-Jitsu. The owner is kind, competent, and firm when necessary, while also showing compassion to students struggling to grasp concepts. His assistant helps newer students learn the basic techniques so that he can offer advanced training to those ready for it, but he offers all students an opportunity to showcase the moves that they have been practicing during class. The group of students and their families are welcoming and it truly feels like a family, instead of just a sport.
Posted 5 months agoThis is the perfect environment for both adults and children! Both my son and daughter have been participating for a couple months now and they totally enjoys it ! Professor Khalil is absolutely fernomal with the kids ! He makes the kids feel comfortable and confident in what their doing in addition they really gravitate to him ! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has an interest! Once you join you immediately feel like you're part of the family!!
Posted 5 months agoMy son recently started going there and we absolutely love it! From the get-go, the instructor made us feel right at home. My son is learning so much and looks forward to going there every day! and it's not just about learning the art of Jiu Jitsu; it's about burning that endless energy kids seem to have in abundance! Highly recommend it to all parents out there looking for a place where their kids can learn, grow, and exhaust that boundless energy!
Posted 11 months agoI visited the open mat from out of town. Coach Khalil greeted me along with everyone else. I could tell everyone was close knit, but extremely welcoming making me feel as though I had known them for years. Everyone there was extremely strong and well versed in most if not all positions. Coach Khalil was studying rolls and advising student where they might be able to improve right after. The feedback was extremely helpful in dissecting your game and looking for improvements on the spot. I would highly recommend joining/ visiting Tawheed jiu-jitsu.
