These guys are the real deal. They don’t mess around with easy paid promotions. You earn everything through hard work and consistency. Shel, Troy and Seung are great coaches, mentors, and friends. Once you commit to the team, and you put in real effort, they got your back no matter what.

Can't ask for better instructors and fellow students. Be prepared to work, but it's great vibes and no-fluff training. For those interested in the kids' classes, I can't recommend this place enough. Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00-5:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:30-2:00 p.m. are the kids' classes times. Seung and Troy are the kids' coaches, and they're superb with the kids. They help foster a supportive and friendly environment for the keiki. Simplified and precise teaching, with an emphasis on self-defense and avoiding conflict when possible. On Sundays, it's basically a family day, with parents and kids learning Jiu Jitsu separately, yet alongside each other. It's great to help your kids feel welcome! Jiu Jitsu isn't easy, but Tako Jiu Jitsu makes it fun and meaningful. Try a free class!

Amazing details and instructions that I never thought I'd get. Also developing problem solving skills and being a critical thinker learning how to deal with situations in Jiu Jitsu. Not to mention the great cardio workout, definitely seen my cardio improve over time here. All in All beneficial in so many ways

Coach Shel, Troy, and Seung are all very knowledgeable and want to help every student develop their skills. Recommend to anyone who wants to learn gi or no-gi jiu jitsu.
