Had a chance while on vacation to get some training in with these guys and did not disappoint. Super detailed instruction from Professor Luiz and great rolls after. Everyone was super stoked on Jiu Jitsu and crazy friendly. Will be my spot to train while in Oahu for sure. Def give these guys a shout if your in town and want some challenging but friendly rolls.

Looking for a dojo that is great for kids, family and adults?, for a place that the people here can turn into a second family? And a sport that can turn into a lifestyle? One way kohaku jiu jitsu is the place. It’s a fun and welcoming space that I look forward to going to everyday, and sensei Luiz puts in a ton of hard work so we can better ourselves mentally and physically.

This is my Second Jiu-jitsu Dojo that I have trained at and the very first day I fell in love with the dojo and the people. Everyone was super kind and friendly and had awesome manners and discipline. Sensei Luis Santos actually teaches amazing Basic & Advanced Jiu-jitsu. I have gone to two tournaments with being sponsored by One-Way Jiu-jitsu/Kohaku Jiu-jitsu and have placed 1st both times in No-Gi and have placed my second time 3rd in Gi. Sensei Luis Santos is an amazing Sensei/Coach/Mentor. He helps me fight my inner self and also pushes me hard past my limits not even knowing that I had those limits. I am proud to say that I am a Family Member at One-Way Jiu-jitsu/Kohaku Jiu-jitsu. Mahalo nui loa Sensei Luis Santos. Come on by and SAMPO our Jiu-jitsu Gym. 🤙🏽

Hands down best jui-jitsu place in town. Luis is a great instructor that really takes his time to make sure you’re are taken well care of. Great place to bring your young ones and of course the adults. If you’re looking to get started with no experience I highly recommend Kohaku!

Solid instruction, good training partners, and a friendly atmosphere... couldn't hope for anything more! A lot of military folks go here, but it's totally welcoming of all types. Sensei Luiz teaches in great detail with creative analogies. This is a great place to put in a workout and improve your BJJ. Beast mode🥋

This dojo is a great place for beginners & anyone who want to start learning BJJ / self defense. You will be surrounded with people with aloha vibes who will help each other stay motivated. Luiz sensei is encouraging and kind. If you got kids of age 5 and up bring them over to join keiki’s class. They will have so much fun!
