Visited for a BJJ seminar. Very clean and professional space. The coaches are exceptionally knowledgeable and obviously care about the sport and their students growth. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to several Martial Arts Schools over the past several years, and I have to say Tai Kai is, hands down, the best one I’ve attended. Tai Kai has top notch instructors that create a positive, fun, competitive environment. If you’re brand new to these types of activities, or if you have experience in these activities, Tai Kai is the place for you. There is something for everyone there.

Ken and Dennis were super accommodating letting me train here when I was in town for a couple weeks. If I could stay in town longer I would definitely get a full membership and train here

I have been extremely impressed with my experience at Tai Kai so far for a variety of reasons. I work a fairly sedentary job, and was looking for options for exercise and general fitness outside of classic weight training that fit with my schedule. I initially chose to attend an introductory class at Tai Kai because I was seeing promising things from their website and reviews, and I have not been disappointed. From the moment that I entered my information and expressed my interest, Ken was engaged and active in getting me signed up for an introductory class for Muai Thai, which was the martial art I figured would probably fit me best starting out, given that I've done boxing before when I was much younger. We discussed options that fit my schedule, and found several. I had a great experience during my first class, with both the instructor and the other students, both those highly experienced and less so, showing me the fundamentals with patience, encouragement, and kindness. I left that class feeling very motivated to continue, and Ken then reached out to check in on my experience and schedule a meeting to discuss options for membership, and times that classes would be potentially held. I have to particularly commend the transparency and honesty that was demonstrated throughout this whole process on the end of Tai Kai, as I consistently got the sense that Ken was actively working with me to find what would work best on my end, and was also impressed with the variety of classes and flexibility in times offered. He encouraged me to try an introductory Brazilian Jiu Jitsu class as well, and despite never grappling before, I also had an excellent experience during that class too. Overall, I'm less than a month in at the moment, am currently cross training Muai Thai and BJJ and am thoroughly enjoying myself. I have genuinely noticed feeling better both mentally and physically since joining, and there's a great balance at Tai Kai of encouraging you to push yourself, while also meeting people where they are at in terms of how far they want to go and how seriously they want to take things in regards to their individual training and personal fitness levels. I would highly recommend it both from the perspective of the energy of the people there, the coaches, the atmosphere, the flexible membership plan options, and the experience I have had so far as a whole.

Tai Kai is a wonderful gym - very supportive atmosphere and folks of all levels of experience will help you without hesitation. They offer a variety of classes so you can try different things out and find what’s right for you - BJJ, Muay Thai, kickboxing, etc. The instructors are knowledgeable and welcoming too! I’m glad that I joined Tai Kai with my husband and we found a hobby to do together
