Both of our oldest sons train in and love Jiu Jitsu. We have done drop in classes and have even been in several competitions. The owner runs a great program and is one of the best. Highly recommend!

Great and welcoming place to train! I joined during the free training month and have been hooked ever since. Everyone is friendly and wants you to learn. I dont see myself stopping anytime soon. Also is a fantastic workout.

I've trained in a half dozen schools across four different states, so I speak from a little experience when I say. Jonathan and Nick at Sub Zero have built an outstanding Academy. It is friendly, clean, and safe. The culture is great and the Jiu Jitsu is top tier. Their head coach Jonathan Reynolds brings the technical excellence of a black belt who has competed at the highest levels and trained with top coaches. But the benefit of Sub Zero is you get to gain from that experience in an intimate setting. The coaches continuously check everyone's form during drilling and provide personal feedback. The members of the gym all took time to personally introduce themselves to me the first day I walked in as I was training for a week over the holidays. I would highly recommend giving Sub Zero a try if you're looking to get started in Jiu Jitsu or if you want to get your child into martial arts. The last thing that I'll add is that the Academy is open and welcoming to people from other schools, their Open Mat was one of the most fun I've attended. There was a really great assortment of upper and lower belts all working their technique.

I have been to a few cheap trial classes for Brazilian jujitsu schools prior, and I never felt like I fit in with the crowd. I was new to the sport and I felt confused with little guidance. After joining sub zero I finally found a group of accepting individuals, there classes are structured in a way that you will be able to learn the martial art at a quick and structured pace, there are great beginner classes as well so you don’t have to get thrown in with the wolves. Jon and Nick are some of the most dedicated coaches I have seen in the area, they do this for the love of the sport not just to own a gym. They both have passion for Bjj. They have a lot of class time options and all of the students are kind and courteous. Everyone is there to help one another grow on the path to being the best version of themselves. I will personally be competing for my first time this month under the guidance of Jon and Nick. I’m excited and I feel as ready as I could ever be with having the experience gained at sub zero.

I always wanted to get into BJJ, but didn't feel I found the right place until I started coming here. Both Nick and Jon are super chill, great at teaching and overall they want the best for you. I am truly greatful for both of them. I've been going to this gym for a few weeks now. The classes are small and they are hands on with teaching students what they need to know. Both Nick and Jon are very encouraging and it shows how much they love what they do. I have no doubt that anyone that comes here and meet them will not have any regrets. Recommend 10/10
