The instruction from Sig's Delf Defense Training Center is the best on the Seacoast, if not New England. Gavin and his team of fantastic instructors make you feel comfortable for all-level students. The instruction is great for men & women alike, at any age level, with awesome real-world scenario applications. The facility is remarkably clean with top-notch equipment . . . and the membership price packages are priced well below other facilities. There is an option for a free week to allow you to shake the anxiety and determine if this is a fit for you. If I could give this rating 6 stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot, you will not regret it! Don't forget to hit the range at the Sig Experience Center before or after your visit to the Self Defense Training Center to round out an overall great visit!! Get some!!

I recently took a self-defense class at the SIG Self Defense Center, and it was an incredibly rewarding experience. The environment was welcoming and energetic, and I felt immediately comfortable, even as a beginner. (I have no experience prior) The Gavin and Chad were knowledgeable, encouraging, and approachable with my hundreds of questions— they really took the time to guide me through areas where I needed extra support. I definitely plan to go back for more training and to keep building my confidence and skills. If you’re looking for a high-quality self-defense class with skilled instructors and a great community vibe, I highly recommend the SIG Self Defense Center.

Wow! Gavin is a really passionate and talented instructor. It was my first time ever in Jiu-Jitsu and he made sure that I don't feel lost or putted aside the all time. He really listen and personalize the class for you. The installations are very pleasant, I was lucky to meet a lot of great people, both experimented and beginners, all were extremely welcoming. I liked it so much that I came back the next day!

I've had the Incredible honor to help be part of this gyms growth and can't speak highly enough about SIG Sauer Academy and it's understanding that to be prepared for the worst days of your life you must cover down on all aspects of what that entails. From firearms to fighting to fitness, this place strives to make all of its classes approachable to beginners as well as entertaining for the more experienced. The gyms BJJ instructors are some of the best I've ever seen in my 11+ years training and take great pride in being excellent ambassadors to the sport of BJJ and guiding people into the world of self defense by working closely with each student. Each instructor being SafeSport certified and taking their efforts extremely seriously in safely bringing the best out of each student on and off the mats. Speaking of which, the mats are top of the line, state of the art spring board Fuji mats. Falling down or getting knocked down or thrown to the ground is like falling onto a cloud. The workout equipment is top of the line as well. Cardio equipment supplied by Concept 2, Sorinex supplying a state of the art prototype Squat rack as well as weights. And GoRuck has sandbags available for sandbag workouts if you really want to try some dynamic stuff. The SIG Sauer Tactical Games Athletes regularly put their workouts up on the board if you want to try to keep up with what they're doing to prep for their competitions (good luck). The gym at this time is advertising fitness recovery products from RAW nutrition which is amazing. Great product. Seminars here are regular. Almost MONTHLY and host big names in both Sport and self defense. Membership is affordable and has discounts if you're a SIG employee or MIL/ LEO. And has a free trial class for drop ins and a free week trial for membership. A public range is also available here as well and it spares no expense for it's clientele. The range is state of the art and digital and the RSO's are so Incredibly professional and KIND. Literally 300 ft away. Very cool to practice multiple top tier martial arts all in one place. There is SO MUCH MORE coming too!

Whether you are looking for gi or nogi BJJ, weapon retention, overall self defense, or fitness this is a great gym for you.
