5+ years now wouldn't change a thing. There are new No Gi programs, strength training and even morning cardio classes. Definitely one of the best in the area! . 4.5+ years still going strong, still love this place and you couldn't ask for a more friendly caring group. .. Going on 4 years! The comradery and positivity has never waned. Love this place! Updated 4.2023 legit one of the best places I've ever found. Top notch people all the way around! 6.2022 it's been over two years and it's still top notch! Original:Top notch! I've been coming here since January (2020) and I've been to more than a few martial arts schools in the past. I can say happily Conquer has been nothing but exemplary in every way. I've seen a lot of clubs that toss around the word family but this place you actually feel it. Every one supports everyone on the mat. If your on the fence about stopping in, give them a call and talk to them. It's worth the trip.

(Updated) liked the gym, the classes, and the people. I felt like I’d found my tribe again. I had to stop attending due to a medical issue and the gym accidentally charged me after I had cancelled. I was pretty disappointed because that’s the kind of stuff I see from big chain gyms. When I pointed out the issue, they quickly took the steps to correct it, took ownership of the problem, agreed to refund me, and are taking steps to make sure it doesn’t happen again. That’s the right way to handle business. When I can, I will likely come back because of how this was handled and because it really is a great gym. You’ve got nothing to worry about - even if you cancel, so you might as well get in there and chase the goals that led you to this review in the first place. Get after it! Semper Fidelis

We started at Conquer back when it was in Kingston, moved over to Brentwood with them and are still here today! My son trains in BJJ and boxing and loves both disciplines! The owners and the other members really make this a great place. They even allowed us to use their space when my son's class needed a place to meet for a few weeks. Overall wonderful and generous people and a great environment to work out in.

I can't say enough about Tony and the Conquer fam! Since I first walked in two and a half years ago to try my first boxing class, it's been an extremely welcoming environment. Now, I do as many systems as possible, and I've grown and learned a ton that I never would've expected. Plus, I gained a whole new group of friends who make coming to classes one of the highlights of my day – staying in shape is SO much easier when you can laugh and have fun doing it! Super grateful for this being my first MMA gym experience and for this team.

Known Tony for 14+ years. His knowledge is amazing. He is passionate at what he does and loves, which is martial arts. You will see this in the first 3 minutes of speaking with him in person. Brentwood dojo is clean and creates a welcoming family feel and always open to new members looking to start their martial arts journey. His Krav is the best in the area by far. Don’t waste your money at another near by one. Tony brings in the best of best instructors for seminars. Take that 1 star recently with grain of salt (jiujitsu fam). Why someone thinks leaving a 1 star is going to hurt reputation is beyond me.

Started going to conquer self defense about three months ago to some private group sessions with a few people. The atmosphere created at this facility is very positive and uplifting. The owner and his staff treat you as family and show they care about you and want to see you excel in whichever program/ programs you choose. I have since become a full member and join the weekly classes and the other members are just as nice and courteous. If you’re looking to learn to defend yourself, get healthy, and join a family like community of people then this is the place for you!

I was invited to come in and observe a class and when I walked through the doors I was immediately welcomed and treated like family. That was five years ago now and one of the best choices I've ever made! Weather you want to learn a new skill that could save your life or build on knowledge you already have, this is the place! Maybe you simply want to be more active while being surrounded by some of the best people you'll ever meet, this is your place! I can't recommend them enough.

Since Day 1 was welcomed with open arms. Everyone and especially the Instructor(s) (hey Toni!!!)- very helpful, knowledgeable, and respectful. It gives me peace of mind especially as a woman to be in a conducive atmosphere to learn and grow with none of the “funny business”. Also: Very military friendly, facility is clean, and training here has very beneficial. Cari and Toni are really making me tap into my inner Manny Pacquiao lol. I would highly recommend Conquer Self Defense, they went above and beyond to help me reach my goals & not only that but my niece has been taking boxing and she’s only 6 and because of the classes that she loves over there, she can now climb the rope all the way to the top in her gymnastics class 💕 we are so proud and thankful 🥰 best place to bring your kids and yourself !! My family has been going to Conquer Self Defense since July of last year and couldn’t be happier. There is an immediate sense of family when you walk through the doors which has made it our second home. Along with the top notch coaches and instructors who go above and beyond teaching their students self love, discipline and respect. I personally feel the strongest inside and out that I have in years and couldn’t have done it without the support and love from my Conquer family!

An absolute gem found in southern parts of NH. Just over a year there and I have learned so much. Tony and all of the other instructors are the real deal teaching you life skills on and off the mat. Family oriented; does not matter how much experience you have or had, everyone is there willing to learn, and become greater-no better facility for learning the skills needed for Krav Maga, BJJ, boxing and never hurts to get fit with TRX, Spin or independent routine with the weights!

Our family has found a true, caring and awesome martial arts school where you immediately get treated like a family. My wife and kids take Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and have loved every moment of it. Now they want to get out of their comfort zones and try other classes like Boxing and Krav Maga. Can't beat Conquer Self Defense!

Conquer self defense is more of a family than a gym. My son started training in BJJ there almost two years ago and it has become the most important thing in his life. I am so grateful for the coaches who have been such a positive influence on him. The atmosphere at conquer is fun and inviting. Anyone thinking of training in self defense or signing up their children should really try a class.. I guarantee you’ll sign up that day!

We have been going to Co quiet since shortly after it opened. It has grown so much but still feel like the family that it is. I taking boxing and Krav, my son does ju jit su, there are new classes being added and now a weight room! The coaches are excellent, help you work thru areas that area are struggle for you and very supportive. The Matias’ have created a family gym, we have made great friendships and learned new skills. 150% recommend.

I have been training at Conquer Self defense for a couple months now and can’t say enough about how great the classes are. I take the Krav Maga and Boxing classes and both are amazing. The Krav is perfect for anyone looking to learn effective real world self defense, and Tony does an amazing job breaking things down at all skill levels. As for the boxing classes Sylvia gives you the best functional workout while simultaneously training your body in proper technique and movement. If you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, you will leave every class feeling great!

My boys have taken the kids boxing classes for months and absolutely love it! The coaches are great and Tony is wonderful to work with! Can’t recommend this place enough for kids. Adult classes looks great too but I have not yet participated. The facility itself is also top notch and super clean!

I was not only looking for a great place to work out but also a great community. Conquer Self Defense has both! I felt right at home from day one. It is a very family oriented place with kids, teens and adults (young and not so young like myself) taking classes. While I’ve enjoyed learning boxing, my daughters are taking Krav Maga, making me feel better that they are learning important self defense skills as they are going off to college. Affordable, easy access and plenty of parking. Check it out!

I’m training in Krav and Boxing and have learned so much over the past year. Conquer Self Defense has been our home away from home for almost a year. The instructors, owners, and members have been nothing but fantastic. Class selection is amazing for both kids and adults. Our kids love boxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. We can get a workout in like TRX while the kids are in their class which makes it so convenient. Our children never want to leave! Please do yourself a favor and check this place out, best addition to Brentwood!

My wife and I and our three kids have been training Brazilian jujitsu and Krav Maga at CSD for almost a year now. Hector and Tony are amazing coaches with the kids and adults. Their instruction is top notch. The vibe of the dojo is very welcoming and family friendly. There is a lot of humility and respect for your partners on the mats when rolling BJJ. It’s a great community of people to be with. All of the mats and equipment are very clean and well kept. Let’s roll!

I joined Conquer self defense a couple months ago because I wanted to get back into Brazilian Jui Jitsu. I was very excited to find out they offer Muy Thai classes as well, something else I wanted to start training again. It’s been a great experience! I can’t say enough about the people who work and train here at the academy, I feel like part of the family already!

Conquer Self Defense has become a staple in our families lives. We practically live at the gym. My 2 children have been participating in BJJ since the day they opened in June and they recently started boxing as well. They love every minute of it there. The staff there is 100% professional and are extremely knowledgable in the skills that they are teaching. We started as friends with the owners but it has progressed to become family with the owners and everyone else there! I highly recommend Conquer Self Defense for the entire family. My husband and I have even started taking classes there.

The staff at Conquer is the best around, all three of my children are enrolled in the programs and absolutely love it! I’ve been too many other places in the area over the years and nothing compares. One thing that separates Conquer from others Is how fast my children learned how too defend themselves. Most of these places have long drawn out programs that takes too long for the students too learn in a timely manner. My youngest had issues with a few kids from the area and there are no problems now and if there’s is in the future he knows he can handle them. The confidence they have now is awesome thanks guys

Through Conquer’s Krav Maga, I have been given the skills to know how to protect myself in any situation. Conquer is full of excellent instructors and makes you feel apart of a family. Found Conquer in November. Emailed with some questions and received responses right away. Tried out one of the classes and it was great. All instructors are fun, informative and push you while respecting your limits. From instructors to trainees, everyone is family and everyone helps each other out. You're never alone at Conquer.

It's a family affair for us between myself, my husband, and our 6 year old. It's been a great way to get in shape, boost confidence, and make some new friends!

I first went to Conquer after experiencing a public safety threat because I needed to feel capable of protecting myself. Tony makes learning so easy, and makes sure you understand what to do in any situation to stay safe. All the instructors are knowledgeable professionals and so encouraging. Above all, they have a heart for each one of their clients that really goes above and beyond. I'll never go anywhere else! This is a one stop QUALITY gym.

This place has excellent instructors. Tony is very good at explaining everything. The more experienced students are very helpful to beginners as well. I experienced a very welcoming atmosphere for kids and adults alike. I take the Krav Maga program and cannot recommend it enough.

They owe me over 15 months of tuition. My child broke his arm in the class. I personally went in and canceled the membership now it’s a nightmare with my bank trying to deal with stop payments because they won’t stop charging me. Don’t bother trying to call either the number doesn’t work From Google. Big let down
