  I’ve trained at TSH for over a year and I’ve had so much support and progress from this crew. I was completely out of shape and nervous to jump in with these impressive folks. I was immediately surprised how many people here at the gym welcomed me and worked with me to become a better and more fit me. I consider everyone here family at this point and I continue to improve. This community has incredible talent and the urge to share. Shawn Hammonds and his team are incredible and eager to share their impressive knowledge with anyone walking through the door for their first time. I would encourage anyone anyone to show up and give it a try. You will find a team that has your best interest in mind.

  Shawn’s an amazing instructor and coach and and even better human! The facility is great!! This is a true team gym everyone is welcoming and friendly while also having highly skilled ppl on the mats. I’ve been blessed to know and train with Shawn for over 15 years, I’ve trained all over the country Shawn is one of the best instructors in the country hands down! Come try it out you won’t be disappointed!!

  Everyone here is extremely inviting, approachable, and friendly. All instructors and coaches are helpful and understanding. Every class is so fun and safe. I highly recommend training here! There is also a solid group of ladies who are fantasic and are so skilled. The ladies class was one of the most productive and informative classes I've ever experienced.

  I tried a lot of academies, looking for one where I felt at home. I was looking for a place that had high skill practitioners with very low ego. This place nails that combo. The team is very down to earth, and are incredibly helpful in helping newbs develop their game. They also get after it, and will challenge you to learn and grow. Many of the other gyms I tried, that carry a person's name on the front, don't have that many classes by said person. Not here. Professor Hammonds is on the mat with us daily. Getting to learn directly from someone of his skill level is a real gift. I am happy to call this gym home, and look forward to years of training under Coach Hammonds.

  This place and these people are some of the best in the industry. The training floor is world class. The instructors are world class. The environment is positive and full of energy. Whether you are training to become a world champion, or you just want to learn a little jiu jitsu for fun, you will be welcome here. Come train with us! I am a purple belt and a Pan American champion, so I have had the honor to be able to train in gyms and facilities all over the United States. You won't find a more closely knit, welcoming crew that will help you achieve whatever goals you may have within the sport. Come train with us!
