From the Moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a supportive, friendly atmosphere that immediately made it feel like home. Anton and the other instructors are top notch-knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about helping student at every level. The facility is clean, well maintained, and has all the equipment needed. But my favorite part about the studio is the community.
Posted a month agoMy 7 year old was really shy and had an issue with bullying at her school. She was often reserved and mostly introverted, so naturally, she'd tell me about it at home, but that was only if Id ask. After joining SAS my child has been carrying herself with confidence and sticking up for herself! It's easier leaving her in school knowing that she can hold her own. I'm grateful for the coaches there and how well they work with the children! They are great at teaching and equipping them with the knowledge, structure, and self-discipline needed to face whatever challenges that may come their way.
Posted 2 months agoHighly recommend training at SAS Philly. I’ve trained here while my gym is temporarily shutdown. I’m so impressed with the level of instruction and how it’s suitable for beginners and experienced students. Professor Anton is so thoughtful with his lessons. The breakdown and drill time allows students to understand the move and increases level of retention. I look forward to visiting even after my gym opens up again.
Posted a month agoSAS BJJ is the best place in Pennsylvania to learn Jiu-Jitsu. Instructor Anton’s ability to teach the art is superb! At SAS you can expect to meet people who are respectful and are willing to welcome you with open arms.
Posted 2 months agoProfessor Anton teaches world class Juijitsu accessible to all levels. The environment is warm and welcoming. Students are respectful and supportive. The mats and surrounding areas are kept extremely clean Classes are always progressive starting with a basic position and working through more complex movements. Students are encouraged to ask questions and learn at their pace. Plenty of time is reserved at the end of class for live rounds where students can work on the techniques in a real setting. One of the best schools around.
