Whether you're in the gym or outside of it, Coach Nyguen is one of the most positive and inspiring person to meet.
Awesome instructor very professional, will definitely recommend.
Kindest and most humble coach, With great technical game! Make sure to ask him about his sneaky wrist lock, got me with ton of times lol
Coach Nguyen has always been someone who uplifts and empowers others, and this gym is a true reflection of that. He’s not just a skilled instructor but also a role model—someone who exemplifies integrity, kindness, and dedication. Battleforge is more than just a gym; it’s a “third place”. It’s a supportive environment where kids can grow, learn discipline, and build confidence through jiu-jitsu. Nguyen’s ability to connect with children and help them realize their potential is unmatched. As a father himself, he understands the importance of creating a positive space where kids feel encouraged to be their best selves. If you’re looking for a jiu-jitsu school that emphasizes character development as much as technique, Battleforge is the place to be. I can’t wait to see how this gym becomes a cornerstone in our community!
This is an awesome gym with a great culture, which is very important when choosing a place to train. As a father himself, coach Nguyen understands how to teach and engage with kids during juijitsu class. Can’t recommend him enough!
Coach Nguyen hands down great instructor, not only pertaining to Jiu Jitsu but a life coach, also a father who leads by example and someone youths can lean on for support and encouragement in the real world. Sign up, give your youths an outlet and an experience they’ll take with them through life!
The instructors are highly skilled, approachable, and take the time to offer personalized feedback, ensuring that students of all levels feel supported and encouraged. They foster a welcoming environment where learning is prioritized, and everyone is challenged to progress at their own pace. The gym itself is spotless, with well-maintained mats and a commitment to hygiene and safety. Overall, it stands out for its dedication to creating a professional, patient, and clean space for BJJ training.
Coach Nguyen is a great teacher. He is patient, kind, and very understanding. He always puts his students first and consistently trying to help them be better in the art as well as life.
Coach Nguyen is one of the most knowledgeable while approachable instructors. It’s difficult to find an instructor that embodies high levels of skill AND a very welcoming approach. This is a gym that you have to send your kids to.
Met Coach Nguyen through training and can say from our initial interaction I could tell he’s a very nice individual - personable with a learning/growth mindset - exactly what you’d want in a coach
