The programs at Saratoga Kyokushin & Alliance BJJ have been a great experience for our entire family. The coaching is high-quality, with a strong focus on technique, conditioning, and continuous improvement. Classes are challenging but fun, and the atmosphere is supportive and motivating. Highly recommended for anyone serious about learning martial arts.

Amazing martial arts school that offers outdoor education classes. Summer courses for kids and much more. I’ve been training Muay Thai here for 3 years now and have had a great experience with the coaches, fighters and practitioners that attend. Is super friendly and welcoming to all levels!

I truly can’t say enough good things about this place. My son has been taking jujitsu here since January. My son is autistic, and has some trouble with self-regulation and impulse control. Jim and Don (and everyone else) have been so good with him. They allow him to be himself without letting him get away with acting out. I recently started taking classes here myself, and everyone has been so welcoming. I have no martial arts experience, and they have been totally willing to take the time to help me learn, and the more experienced students have been really good sports about helping the new girl. We love it here. They have a lot to offer. Jujitsu, Muay Thai, Karate, Judo…..lots of options for kids and adults.

Such a great gym. I’ve tried the Mauy Thai, Kyokushin, and Jiu jitsu and they are all awesome. Instructors are all kind, talented, and give excellent feedback. Whether you are a casual hobbyist or wanting to compete this is the place to go!

From the moment I stepped on the mats, I knew this was more than just a gym — it’s a family. The atmosphere here is welcoming, supportive, and driven, and it all starts at the top with the coaching staff. Coach Jim is incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented. He has a way of breaking down techniques that makes complex movements feel simple and effective. Whether you’re brand new or an experienced grappler, he’ll meet you where you are and help you level up. But what truly sets Alliance Saratoga apart is Don Walton. Don isn’t just a coach — he’s the heart of the gym. He dedicates himself fully to the success and growth of everyone who trains here. His passion is unmatched. Don is the kind of guy who will stay late to help you drill, give you thoughtful advice after a tough roll, or message you just to make sure you’re feeling good after a hard week. His commitment is felt every single day — and it genuinely elevates the entire environment. Whether you’re training for competition, self-defense, or just want to be part of a positive and hard-working community, Alliance Saratoga delivers. The culture here is built on respect, pressure, and progress. If you’re looking for a gym that develops not just your Jiu Jitsu, but your mindset, confidence, and resilience — this is the
