Chris Last Head Coach

Brown Belt

Chris Last is the founder and Head Coach of Samurai Fitness BJJ. A former Royal Marine Commando with 24 years of service, he holds a Brown Belt under the Chamberlain Brothers at the Roger Gracie Academy Bristol, where he remains an active member of the coaching team.

Al Laoutaris

Black Belt

Al Laoutaris is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Royal Marines Head Coach Tarik Bilgic. Al has served as a Royal Marine Commando for 26 years and has represented the Royal Navy & Royal Marines at the highest level in combat sports, including Boxing, Judo and BJJ.

Chris is extremely welcoming and allows for all skill levels, went as a complete beginner and I felt right at home and was able to get stuck in straight away, chris offers great and meaningful advice tailored to you to help develop your specific skills, leading by example and presenting solutions 1 on 1. Highly recomend!

Just come off the back of my trial session with Chris and it was fantastic, great atmosphere on the Matts with really good coaching would definitely recommend if anyone lives near Yatton I my self will definitely be going back
