    I passed through Weston-Super-Mare today so thought I would pop in to train at Rising Tide BJJ. I’ve known Ian, one of the owners there, for over 15 years. What a warm and friendly bunch of folk there! The facilities are top notch and very spacious. Black belt Paddy taught the class and it was very well run. He took care to accommodate for students ranging from very new beginners to old farts like me. You can always tell how good a BJJ school by the way the students spar and I was very impressed by how technical, competitive and also considerate they all were. Before the adults class I did also catch the second half of a kids class and again, I was very impressed at how well it was run. There is a good student to adult coach/assistant ratio which is always important. Overall, highly recommend!!

    Rising Tide is an amazing place to train for both myself and my kids! All of the instructors are absolutely brilliant and the whole club has been so welcoming. With so much experience and passion it is a great place for anyone whether you've been training for years or just want to give it a go.

    Great gym. Dropped in from Hong Kong and the gym was very welcoming. Professor Ian was super helpful sharing wicked advice and tips on the open mat. Highly recommend.

    I've been training here for a couple of years now. Firstly, it's the cleanest Martial Arts club I've ever trained at. The classes are a good size and suited to all levels. The amount of classes put on per week are more than anywhere else I know.

    I dropped by for an open mat whilst in town, and it was a great experience. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, making it easy to join in. The Jiu Jitsu here is top-notch, with plenty of skilled people to roll with. I can definitely recommend this gym and I will be back. Thank you.
