Popped in while I was in Nottingham and looking for somewhere to train, and had a really good experience. I’ve trained at a few different places around Nottingham over the years, and this was one of the most relaxed and welcoming atmospheres I’ve come across. The coach is a black belt and clearly knows his stuff, but the class still felt friendly and approachable with no ego. If I was just starting BJJ, this is exactly the sort of gym I’d want to walk into, welcoming, relaxed, and a good place to learn properly. Also a good spot if you’ve trained before and just want somewhere chilled to get some rounds in while you’re in the area. Really nice place and definitely worth checking out.
Great place to train with a really friendly and welcoming atmosphere no matter your skill level. Tom is a fantastic coach, explains techniques really clearly and shows the concepts behind them that improve your overall BJJ game, rather than just showing ‘moves of the day’. Highly recommend joining and training, regardless of your fitness or skill level!
Started beginning of January. Really enjoying it, good bunch of friendly people at all different levels. Does wonders for your fitness. Learn at own pace no pressure. Tom is a really good professor/ instructor. I Will continue you going for the foreseeable future
Amazing place to train with a great community of people who make you feel welcome from the first session! Tom is a great coach who simplifies the demonstration enough for beginners. Can’t recommend it enough 💪🏻
Great place to train! Everyone is really welcoming and friendly, which makes it easy to feel comfortable from the start. The setup is very beginner-friendly, and the class format is well structured. Highly recommended for anyone thinking about starting Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
