Brown Belt

Stu started training in martial arts at the age of 11, initially in Judo until age 16. He later trained in Kickboxing, Kung fu and Mixed Martial Arts, where he was introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He started training solely in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in September 2013 and has trained consistently since then. Stuart aims to create a welcoming atmosphere at Roger Gracie Academy Leicester.

Drop ins are charged at Â£10 per session.

Kids Half-Membership

£40.00 month

Membership is paid monthly via direct debit; one class per week.

Kids Full-Membership

£50.00 month

Membership is paid monthly via direct debit; includes all RGA Leicester kids sessions throughout the week.

Adults Half-Membership

£55.00 month

Membership is paid monthly via direct debit; includes two days of training during the week and one day during the weekend.

Adults Full-Membership

£75.00 month

Membership is paid monthly via direct debit; includes unlimited training in the classes available to you.

Excellent mat space, clean, padded walls and a single pillar to dodge. Changing area, showers and toilets. Friendly coaches. Gym area has all your basic needs as well including ski erg, bike, pull-ups bar and free weights.

The best coaches and the people that trains there are friendly and a very good mat space. High level of Jiu Jitsu training and also competition oriented … Full recommended

Great place to come and learn BJJ. Toilets, matts, showers and overall facilities are all clean and well maintained. Great coach who will get the best out of you, lots of classes at good prices. welcoming and like minded people, who are all willing to help you on your journey. Look no further, just roll on down. Wish I went down years ago. Loving it!

My kids started training here 3 years ago and then I joined a few weeks after. We all love BJJ now. It's been a great experience to do this together as a family and I have definitely seen my kids grow in confidence as a result of training and discipline BJJ has provided. For me, it's made a huge impact for my fitness, mental health and I found a sport that I truly love. Highly recommend everyone give it a go and see how you get on... What do you have to lose

Amazing place, Amazing hobby and Amazing people! Stu is a great coach; he has a great knowledge base, is friendly and great at teaching and problem solving. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a great sport that pretty much anyone can do, take it from me (a disabled guy who recently had a couple of strokes) it's a fantastic art to learn that helps keep you healthy physically and mentally, amongst great friends from all walks of life, a good diverse group of people, proving Jiu Jitsu is for everyone, plus Stu keeps the club very affordable and clean.

Would definitely recommend, from first timers to those with more experience. Personally only second week in to training yet got to experience a warm welcome, plenty of tips and guidance from Everyone training here. Consistently cleaned and well maintained sparring floor, plus small gym area to do extra exercises if desired. Great coach, great gym, great people. What a place to learn at!
