An excellent and friendly environment. No egos and the instructors are at a high level. A great place to learn Jits.
After decade plus away from training and definitely too old to get injured by egos. I had tried a few places over the years and did not find a place I was comfortable. Really glad i plucked up the courage to try one more time. Atmosphere great. Lessons are well thought through and importantly safe training is emphasised. Having had so many injuries over the years its refreshing. The coaches are friendly and very experienced. Glad i made the decision
Been training at CBL for about 7 months with no prior jiu-jitsu experience and I’ve progressed quickly thanks to the great coaching. Great people, great environment, highly recommend!
My go too place to train in Leicester, the coaches Caz, Tim, Penny & Andy are all really knowledgeable and have a brilliant way of passing on that knowledge. Really friendly and welcoming. Ideal for all levels. An incredibly safe space where everyone only wants to help you improve.
An inclusive and safe space for all; fantastic coaching and level of jiu jitsu. Would highly recommend women to train here.
Posted 2 years agoFriendly, approachable coaches who have absolutely no egos. Who encourage you no matter your skill level. Safety while training is paramount, especially when it comes to advanced moves. With some even banned from the gym. Quality teaching with patience, thorough explanations and feedback. What more could you want? Certainly recommend!
I've been training at the gym for a month now and everyone has been very welcoming. All the coaches have a wealth of knowledge and explain the concepts taught in an understanding way, and with patience. Highly recommend.
A place to learn Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and other grappling techniques from highly qualified instructors. It has the right balance of applied resistance and respect for you and your training partners safety. I highly recommend to train here!
