  I recommend Rockford Academy. This was my first time my son has done any martial arts. Master An took the time to learn how my son learns and is patient on the process of getting him up to speed. He has greatly improved with Master An and he is now enjoying every class. I like that Master An is always reassuring all the kids that they are doing a good job and helps them fix what they are not understanding by repetition. Thanks Master An, Joaquin is always happy leaving your class.

  Absolutely wonderful place! The dedication and commitment of Master An and Norm is outstanding! My daughter is shy. She has been in class for about 2 months and I can see the growth within her. The kids are being taught things that they will be able to use for the rest of their lives! Highly recommend for any child!

  My two sons love this program. The teacher teaches life skills and discipline. The structure is perfect for my boys. We are looking forward to this long term commitment.

  My son had been asking for ninja classes for months, and we finally decided to try out Rockford Academy of Tae-Kwon-Do. I was so impressed with the Little Ninja program they have there. It is a well rounded effort of conditioning of the body and mind. Master An is very hands on and you can tell that he loves what he does. I really appreciate the emphasis on life skills in addition to the physical skills — gives us a shared reference when talking about behavior at home. The instructors are incredible role models, embodying the values they teach. My son especially likes Master An and his enthusiasm — he definitely feeds off his fun and high energy! He is slowly morphing into a goal oriented little rockstar, who really wants to be a blackbelt some day. This is a life investment that I know in my heart is so well worth it!!!
