Rasai is an awesome gym. Everybody there is friendly and very welcoming. The facility is clean and well maintained with snacks and drinks to purchase after your training. Unfortunately it’s a little too far for me to train regularly, when I have dropped in it’s always been a great experience.
If you're looking for a gym with good culture and a strong sense of community, this is your gym. Sergio does an incredible job instructing. Sergio, Nathalia and the students here are extremely welcoming as well and gives an overall great vibe. This school provides an easy and accessible schedule that suits just about anyone who wants to train. If indecisive, I recommend to give the free week trial a shot.

Rasai is an incredible gym. A very welcoming and family-like atmosphere where you’ll find all levels of jiu jitsu practitioners & competitors. Coach Sergio does a fantastic job. The schedule and classes are well put together to accommodate all, the training environment is safe and effective for all skill levels and the gym itself is very clean. Professor Sergio and the team at Rasai are an amazing group of respectful practitioners. I love coming here to cross train for the applicable techniques taught and for the welcoming vibe! I always feel safe training here which is important to a 102 lb 40- something year old female! Rasai is an asset to the jiu-jitsu community and is a wonderful place to train for those new to jiu-jitsu as well as the seasoned practitioner.
When we moved to SD, we wanted to find a gym that had community rather than a big gym that we didn't know anyone at. We found it here. Sergio is the man and is so much fun to learn from. The other professors are really good too, and the sense of community is really nice. Lots of class options, the gym is very clean, and there is a nice range of skill levels. Feels like family there, and we've really enjoyed our time.

Rasai is an incredible place to train bjj. Sergio is one of the nicest instructors with incredible knowledge and a great teaching style that allows all levels to understand and get better at jiu jitsu. Classes are structured and challenging, making it a great workout and beneficial, not just for bjj but also physically challenging. Sophia is an amazing instructor as well. With her years of experience teaching kids, she runs a great program to help kids gain skills and confidence. Hands down an amazing place for a competitor, kid or hobbyist to train and become part of a community.

Head Professor Sergio Rios is an elite world champion who is the nicest guy ever! The students are extremely welcoming and you get a great work out, whether you are a beginner or advanced. Rasai Jiu Jitsu is a great, brand new gym. Very clean, and top level instruction. The head teacher, Professor Sergio, is as good as it gets. I love the details that he gives. I have been training for a while, but the little details that he gives helps me to improve my game. The class is taught in a way that is easy to understand, and everyone is extremely welcoming. If you are looking for a place to train Jiu Jitsu, you definitely have to come here and try a class.
