I’ve been taking my child to Progresso for several months now, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The instructors are incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, making sure each class is both educational and engaging. They really know how to connect with the kids and foster a positive, encouraging environment. My child looks forward to every class and has made such incredible progress in their technique and confidence. It's clear that the coaches not only teach jiu-jitsu but also instill discipline, respect, and a love for the sport. I’m so grateful for the positive impact this gym has had on my child, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get their kids involved in martial arts!
Posted 1 year agoClean facilities, super welcoming team/family vibe, and super talented high-level instructors from all over the world. I've had a great training experience here from both a technical and community standpoint. No hyper-masculine or arrogant vibe that I got from a dozen other BJJ spots in DFW, and every instructor has been down-to-earth and patient for even my silliest technique questions. Multiple class times six days a week make it easy to train on my schedule. My young children now train here and love it as well. My daughter was hooked during her trial class with female instructor Carol, and my son says BJJ is his favorite out of a half-dozen extracurriculars he's in. Confidence for both has skyrocketed since joining Progresso, and they've grown so close to the other kids that they've invited them to birthdays.
Posted 1 year agoA great drop in experience on a Saturday morning with over 20 students on the mat. There was lots of great training as well as a very welcoming environment from all the students as well as Professor Davi. The facility is great and definitely recommend this academy!
Posted 1 year agoMy sons and I have been training at this gym for approximately three years, and our experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The coaches—Alex, Davi, BomBom, and Carol—are all outstanding and humble individuals. Training under such high-level competitive black belts is incredibly rewarding and an opportunity many may never experience. The detailed instruction and patience provided to adults and children are unparalleled. My boys have immense respect and admiration for the coaches, and I feel blessed that my family has the opportunity to train here.
Posted 1 year agoI came here to visit and everyone was so welcoming. Beautiful gym with so many amenities, it truly has everything you need. I recommend this gym whether you’re here to visit or to join. You’ll get a great class out of it no matter what!
