For 18 years, I’ve had the privilege of training at many BJJ schools. Any time I’m in the North Dallas area, there’s one place I train BJJ - Corvo. The head instructor, Tony, is not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also passionate, patient, and dedicated to helping each student grow. The training environment is welcoming, supportive, and challenging – perfect for practitioners of all levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors. The techniques are taught with clarity and precision, and the drilling and sparring sessions are fun and safe, with lots of cool people to train with. As a woman in the sport, I always look for a clean and safe environment to train. Not only are the Co-Ed classes at Corvo a welcoming environment for women, but they also offer women’s classes. The women’s instructor, Michelle, makes classes fun and we learn a lot of cool stuff! If you’re new to BJJ and trying to find a place to train, or just looking for a new place to train, Corvo would be a choice you won’t regret. Highly Recommend

I don’t often respond to Facebook ads, but I am so glad I did this time. I just signed my son up for the little crows class, in Plano, he’ll be 4 years old very soon. I wanted him to learn more about discipline. Susan is great and coach Stephen is fantastic with the kids. He is very friendly and fun but with a strong hand, doesn’t let them give up or give excuses. My son loves it and his little sister is dying to join the class!
I have visited over 10 gyms in the Dallas area and Corvo is by far my favorite. The culture, competition, and coaching are all top notch.
Great facility with showers! Love the variation in times to train from early morning, lunch to evening classes. Excited to see more classes added in the future. Family friended academy, they have kids classes as well.

Definitely a great place to train. I came in with no experience or really even any knowledge about jiu jitsu at all and the coaches are able to effectively instruct me. The classes are fun and exerting to motivate you to show up consistently. Would for sure recommend at least taking a trial class
My kids and I have trained at Corvo for a year and a half and are excited about the new Plano location. I trained 5 and a half years in a different state and when I moved to Texas I was really hoping to find a new JJ academy, I'm proud to call Corvo my home. Hands down the best BJJ gym out there. The coaches and facility are top notch. I’ve known Tony , the head coach, since 2015 and he’s a remarkable coach and leader. This is hands down the most unique and incredible training atmosphere I’ve been to. Definitely recommend coming in and giving this place a shot, you won’t regret it.

I've been a part of Corvo Martial Arts in Richardson since 2021 so the opening of the second location in Plano is incredibly exciting! Amazing instruction by Professor Tony and his coaches. It's an environment of growth and good vibes that I can't recommend enough.
I started training at Corvo in 2023 and i can honestly tell you it has one of the best gym environments i have ever experienced. There is high level instruction and partners. If you are looking to start jiu jitsu or be a full time competitor Corvo has a great mix of both not making one feel more or less important then the other.
