    I’ve trained at several gyms the past few years and I finally found my home. Before I even switched to North South, Monique welcomed me with open arms every time I needed a place to cross train. Her and Rodrigo are truly invested in their students and are amazing competitors themselves. They have great work ethic and technique that they pass on to their students. They have created an environment where students show up for one another in training and at competitions. North South is truly a team who works as one. Bonuses are their facility is beautiful and kept clean, plus their business partners are great people (Danyelle is the gym mom and is simply amazing).

    Awesome gym, great supportive community, and top notch training. Multiple Black Belts on the mat at any given time. Lessons are methodical and fundamentals are reinforced so if you can commit to showing up consistently you will see improvement. The thing that initially surprised me was how welcoming the environment is. This isn’t always the case in gyms that train combat sports. Training at North South has been an amazing experience and if you are looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym in the North Dallas area this place is worth dropping in.

    Very rarely do you find a gym who, despite being in its infancy, has such an established culture PLUS an amazing training environment. Having trained at gyms across the U.S., I can say wholeheartedly North South ranks at the top and my confidence and skill has increased exponentially. You know you have a good gym when people hang out even when they aren’t training! Instructors and training partners are literally world champions but you’d never know just be talking to them. Passion is a virtue at this gym and illustrates the care the professors have for their students. While we may get a little loud at competitions, don’t be mistaken, it is 100% pure compassion and desire not to win, but to be the best we can be.

    Loved the atmosphere! Marlon was super dope and showed immense hospitality. The environment was very welcoming and the experience was joyful. We will stop by again once we’re back in town!

    Started our Pre-School son at North South Jiu Jitsu for a month. Professor Rodrigo, his wife and Danyelle are great and super patient in teaching our son. It’s wonderful kids classes are later in the day, after school. I’m considering joining myself after the Holiday’s. North South Jiu Jitsu is a great community to join.
