Been training here for a little over 6 months now and I’m so glad I found this place. I’ve seen tremendous growth in not only my game but also in my personal development. The instructors are knowledgeable and always teach up-to-date, relevant techniques for both Gi and No Gi. The community here is supportive and motivating, I guarantee you’ll leave every session feeling amazing!
I've been training at Royal BJJ for about 5 years now and I really consider it to be my second home. Everyone who trains there is super friendly and push one another to get better. There are alot of technical higher belts who also help improve your game. The place is super clean and a really a comfortable atmosphere to train at. Professor Ricardo is an awesome coach who always focuses on his students best and really does everything to help better everyone's BJJ game. I definitely recommend this school to anyone who is either just starting with jiujitsu or they are seasoned jiujitsu practitioners and looking for a good high level academy to train at. Oss
Ricardo and Nancy are great. Our daughter has been training for just under a year and recently passed her first belt test. The instructors are competent and encouraging, helping to instill a successful mindset for not only BJJ, but also in life.
My son has been in Coach Ricardo’s class for the past year. Coach Ricardo is such a great instructor and notices if the kids are having a hard time and restructures his own teaching so that they will understand. He and the other coaches are completely dedicated and supportive of all the students. They learn each student and teach according to that student. A bit more gentle for some, tougher on others, encouraging and pushes for excellence always. Not only that but it’s another reinforcement for parents on teaching gratitude, resilience, responsibility, taking ownership, and so much more. I could not be happier with this establishment!!
My son has been training with the youth group for 2-3 months and enjoys it. I appreciate that professor Ricardo stresses on not only physical improvement but disclipine as well. Prof Ricardo stays engaged with the kids and is hands-on. I think the short play session at the end is very helpful for the kids to ease out of the training.
I can’t put into words my appreciation for this gym. I have had such a great experience since training at Royal Art. They have created an amazing atmosphere for all who attend. Not only is the teaching incredible, but the owners are the most genuine, amazing people you will ever meet. They put so much care and attention to each and every student going above and beyond for all of us that are lucky enough to be apart of this gym. So grateful to have found Royal. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a Jiu Jitsu gym to join. :)
I HIGHLY recommend this place! I’m brand-spanking new to my journey in BJJ but EVERYONE in this gym has been nothing but welcoming and courteous towards me and each other. Coaches/Owners Ricardo and Nancy are very personable and welcoming. I feel like I can do this and feel the encouragement here. If you are looking for a welcoming gym with KNOWLEDGEABLE people—this is the place. You won’t regret it!
I have been working out at Royal Art for two years now & it's been a great journey! The community is awesome & welcomes everyone, including older students like myself. Cannot say enough good things about Ricardo, Nancy & the Royal Art BJJ Family!
It was so great to be in class with my friends today! First group class since spinal surgery in June. It is so wonderful having team mates that are so supportive and looking out for me. Professor Ricardo Abreau has been the best: he’s taken the time (and patience) to work with me in private classes twice a week since 30 days after surgery. He’s helped me to be more aware of my movements, develop strengths to keep my neck safe, and gradually gotten me back to basics and flowing safely. He’s watching out for me and telling me when it’s safe to drill or best to sit and observe if it might be too straining yet. I felt 100% safe today. Royal Art BJJ is a wonderful place to train, with safe and supportive teammates, and a Professor who is very passionate about this sport and mentorship within it. It’s no wonder so many black belts train here. If you haven’t tried Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, what’s stopping you? ☺️
This gym is excellent. A great group of people from the professor to the white belts. Ricardo leads with empathy, precision & skill, and even just the way they approach working someone into the art feels perfect. It's simple; you come as often as you can, and carefully learn fundamentals until you are ready for more. Nobody at this gym is trying to hurt you, and everyone I've met and worked with seems to have an obvious and collective desire to challenge each other and grow together. If you've been thinking about learning Jiu Jitsu but are hesitating for any reason, just come join us.
This is the best gym! I’ve been coming to Royal Art for a couple of years now, and I know for sure I wouldn’t have lasted this long training anywhere else. I came to jiu jitsu with absolutely no background in martial arts or sports of any kind. I was afraid to try anything, afraid of getting hurt, had no body coordination, and no trust in myself. I screamed doing my first forward roll. 😂 But Nancy and Ricardo are such patient and caring professors, they bring out the best in you no matter where your starting point is, and they are serious about safety. Ricardo is an exceptional professor and can make even the most complicated techniques fun to learn for all ages and skill levels. Both serious competitors and brand new beginners have plenty to gain from training here. Nancy and Ricardo have cultivated the most friendly and supportive atmosphere of any gym I’ve been to, there’s so much respect and care in everything they do for their students, and it is reflected by the whole team of amazing people who train here. Everyone makes you feel welcome so that even if you’re like me and all of this seems crazy and scary to you, you’ll want to keep coming back, and before you know it you’ll become a better, braver version of yourself because of it. It’s seriously life changing!
Nancy and Professor Ricardo are top notch and helped me learn new details on fundamentals I hadn't noticed before. Thanks so much!
Great coaching! Amazing breakdowns to help you understand and grow even from not knowing anything. With wonderful encouragement to ask questions for understanding and help. If you want to learn or have been training already and looking to improve this is the place to grow and make gains in your jiu-jítsu.
Ricardo and Anthony are excellent instructors and I feel privileged to be learning from them. The place is always clean and exceptionally well-kept, the mats are great, and the members are all super friendly and welcoming. 5 stars is an understatement.
I kept dropping in at Royal for classes and finally joined in as a member. BEST decision I’ve made. Ricardo is an incredible professor that is very passionate and encourages his students to reach their potential. Nancy ( co-owner/ coach) is amazing and helps you feel right at home. The overall atmosphere is unmatched and everyone is so kind and respectful! Definitely give them a try! Best decision I’ve made. :)
This place provides such an amazing experience with some of the best people ever!!! Everyone here is really accepting and they definitely make you feel like you belong, no matter your level of experience. I'm grateful for my time here and would truly recommend this place to everyone!
Awesome gym and very inviting atmosphere. The instructors are knowledgable and truly care about their students success and development. Cannot recommend training here enough!
Great instructors and great environment/atmosphere, highly recommend!
I enrolled my 5 year old son here a few months ago and I am so glad I did! Professor Ricardo is amazing and great with kids, my son really enjoys interacting with Professor Ricardo and Coach Nancy (co-owner). I can tell he not only enjoys being around them and the other students in class, but he is getting stronger and learning! I really value the discipline, care, and patience Professor Ricardo and Coach Nancy convey to my son and the other students. I highly recommend this place! Actually, after a short while of my son enrolling I joined myself and experience the same things I saw my son go through. Phenomenal team and environment!
About 6 weeks ago I took my 15 year old son into Royal Art BJJ for a free lesson. We were looking for something new and outside of his comfort zone to do this summer, and particularly looking for something that would help build confidence and resilience. Out of sheer good luck we were recommended Royal Art by a family friend. My son was hooked after the first night, and I was as well. We came back the next night and both joined. I am 45 and have involved with sports throughout my life, but have absolutely zero martial arts experience. After 6 weeks of lessons I would strongly recommend Royal Art BJJ for all of the following reasons: 1. This has been a great experience for my son and I. It has given us something to do together, learn together, and talk about. It is strengthening our relationship. I am seeing my son gain in confidence, resilience, and respect from the experience. 2. This may be the hardest thing I've ever done. I am quite sore and have so much to learn that it's not even funny. Professor Ricardo has created an environment where as a 45 year old newbie I feel comfortable and welcome. 3. Professor Ricardo Demente Abreu has an amazing background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA (Google him). His expertise is amazing, but more importantly to me he is a great teacher. In what could be a totally intimidating situation I feel totally welcome, supported, and I'm having fun learning. 4. Co-owner Nancy has been great in welcoming my family to BJJ! Every word of her "sales pitch" has been truth. 5. The students at Royal Art are absolutely amazing! There are some incredibly talented advanced students there, and they have been extremely welcoming, patient, and very generous with their knowledge. If you are anywhere near Plano and considering a martial art, or just trying something new, give Royal Art BJJ a chance!
I was looking for a place to learn more grappling so I found this place on Google and now I come here all the time. Professor Ricardo teaches BJJ extremely well and is an expert at his craft. His philosophy is also very inspiring. The people are good as well, Im terrible with names but I know basically everyone here and they're strong. You'll definitely learn a a lot when you come here, so if you want to learn BJJ this is definitely the spot to go. SUMMARY: VERY EDUCATIONAL, GOOD PEOPLE, INSPIRATIONAL 10/10. WOULD RECCOMMEND
Very clean gym, amazing professors, and welcoming environment! The students are friendly, too. Plenty of mat space, and tons of classes to meet scheduling needs for all levels. Highly recommend!
I have been coming to this school for a few years now. I am a teacher myself and am inspired by Professor Ricardo’s eagerness to make me better. He truly cares about his students both kids and adults. I highly recommend this school. It is a friendly atmosphere.
You will always be a better version of you after each session!
Coach Ricardo and coach Nancy have been great teaching my kid BJJ and he looks forward to making it to every class.
I was very nervous to start my BJJ journey but I quickly realized I came to the right place. Royal Art BJJ is the best gym to come and train in. The environment is welcoming and Professor Ricardo is an excellent teacher and coach. Nancy is always there to greet you and help with any questions and has great Warrior CBD. If you are looking for a place to train, or even send your kids, this is where you should go.
This place is great, come and learn jiu jitsu :D
Staff is professional. Premises are clean. Instructor is very knowledgeable and smart. Every patron is helpful and friendly. The website isn't great, but it works.
This is literally the best gym ever! I’ve been to lots of gyms and Professor Abreu is the most kind, helpful, and genuinely caring professor I’ve ever trained under. Best training partners, best vibe, and the most improvement I’ve seen! Thank you so much, Professor!
The mats are really clean, everyone is super nice and helpful. The whole environment is very positive.
I was hesitant to start jiujitsu in my late thirties. I have a business, young kids, and a busy life. Professor Ricardo approaches every class with empathy, common sense, and great communication. He is very friendly and professional. The upper level experienced people are very helpful and will take care of every new person. It feels like one big family. No one is trying to hurt each other, but just to improve everyday. The gym is extremely clean and well run. I cannot say enough good things. I am starting my daughters in the kids class this summer. If you have any interest in improving your jiu jitsu or getting started on a very rewarding journey, I absolutely recommend you come in for a few trial classes.
The mats are clean, the in-store Warrior CBD is unbeaten, and the instruction provided by Professor Ricardo Abreu is world-class. You won't find a more welcoming community full of people all shapes-and-sizes to train with! Whether you're traveling through Plano, or a resident there's no better place to learn self-defense and the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Ricardo and Nancy are top-notch gym owners, and they offer a trial class for FREE, so swing by and pick up some Warrior CBD while you're here! Proud Royal's my home away from home.
I'm new white belt and I've just started with Professor Ricardo and his team at Royal Art BJJ. In the short time I've been here, not only have I learned a lot, but I also had the opportunity to roll along with the other students. Compared to the other schools I've been to, Ricardo takes on a much different approach where you are thrown in with the advanced students and are not only learning technique at the same time, but also learning how the they are applying those techniques on you in a full simulated matchup. In contrast to demonstration, this 1st hand experience helps you understand how the techniques are applied and how the advanced students leverage their position and energy onto you. It's like learning to swim by getting thrown into the deep. For me it's the best way to learn and it's been a great experience so far in learning from all the other students and Ricardo. In my short time here, Ricardo has been very supportive and is a great motivator. Ricardo demonstrates a strong ability to teach and relate to all his students. In his teachings, Ricardo not only places emphasis on the physicality aspect but also in the mental, which is one of the things that separates him from the previous instructors I've had. I can certainly say that he will definitely push you to improve upon yourself. If you are a looking to start your BJJ journey, I would highly recommend starting here with Ricardo at Royal Art BJJ. Also, great parking, convenient locations and times are a plus! Hope to see you in class. Oss!
Dropped in to this gym while on a business trip. Great guys and nice facility. Not afraid to roll with visitors. Totally great place.
Great place to train. High quality instructors that care about their students. Friendly and welcoming to new students regardless of skill level.
My old gym had to close down due to the pandemic, but Ricardo, Nancy, and Mike made me feel at home since day 1! Great mat space, great coaches, and a great group of people!
I’ve trained at a few different schools and Royal Art is definitely in a league of its own when it comes to instruction. Ricardo as a teacher watches his students closely with a eye for detail only a 3 time world champ could have, Tailoring his lesson to fit the needs of his students. Any class you could attend won’t disappoint. Nancy, always handles anything you might need or questions you could have in getting started with them. Don’t forget to buy some Warrior CBD from the front desk on your way out.
Wonderful environment and great people to work with! I recommend this place to everyone who want to learn jujitsu
If you are thinking in a place for your kids to learn how to defend themselves this is the place, Profesor Ricardo has so much patience yet teaches the kids that necessary discipline that jujitsu demands.
I will recommend this place to anyone who wants to learn the art of BJJ.
Ricardo is by far the best jiu jitsu coach I’ve ever had. He’s patient, super knowledgeable and pushes you to be the best you can be.
Ricardo really seems to enjoy teaching, and BJJ is a ton of fun. I’m really glad I signed up.
Professor Ricardo Abreu is a great instructor. He is able to provide tiny details I've not heard before that improve every single technique he teaches. He is a world-class athlete but he is humble and has a great demeanor that the class enjoys. Having been there for a few months now, it has been exciting to see the classes grow as more people hear about him and his teaching capabilities.
I cannot recommend training here enough. The depth of Ricardo's bjj knowledge, and his enthusiasm for teaching, are evident from the first moments on the mats. The atmosphere is welcoming and the training is excellent. Do yourself a favor and stop by.
If I ever have to leave Dallas training at Royal Art BJJ with Ricardo will hands down be the thing I miss the most (and that includes good texmex and barbecue!). Ricardo is an amazing instructor pairing excellent technique with really intuitive and detailed explanations. Everyone training at Royal Art BJJ is very nice and welcoming. I have also taken private lessons with Ricardo and can testify that it can make a huge difference - locking in the fundamentals and expanding from there. I can't say enough good things and I can't imagine a better place to train.
Training at Royal Art BJJ with Professor Ricardo Abreu is definitely one of the highest BJJ instructions I was able to find. I took some tryout classes in other academies and I was sold by Ricardo's way of teaching, I can't recommend Royal Art highly enough!
Great place to train!! My 9 year old son has been training here for nearly a year and I started recently too. The level of instruction is top notch, but more importantly, everyone is friendly and welcoming. Ricardo is so knowledgeable but also so down to earth and approachable. Despite his impressive resume, he’s not at all intimidating and provides everyone at all levels with close attention. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful too. They’ll make you feel right at home.
I feel very fortunate that I have found Royal art jiu Jitsu and getting trained with someone like professor Ricardo who is one of the best Jiu Jitsu trainer in the world is really a great honor. He has a great sense of humor and treats you like his own family.
Professor Ricardo Abreu is the best choice for your time and money. He also gives attention to each and every student in every class. A great, great teacher! 👍😀👍
Great place to train Jiu jitsu with some really awesome people. I had the opportunity to visit and train here a few times while in Dallas. Great vibe and everyone is extremely nice and welcoming. Professor Ricardo Abreu is very encouraging, and everyone here has a great attitude toward training, learning, and helping and encouraging each other. Thank you all again for a great training experience.
Awesome instructor, really takes the time to explain then execute correct technique. Also very friendly environment, would recommend for all ranks!!!
I have taken some other martial arts before, and this is my first time taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I just started at Royal Art BJJ a month ago, and it has been by far exceed my expectations. Instructor Ricardo has a lot of patience in helping me with all the basic movements along with everyone else around me has shown the willingness to help. Studying under Instructor Ricardo has help me to build my confidence, my endurances, and I am learning a lot.
I have been training Brazilian jiu-jitsu for 10 years now and I am so happy to have found Royal Art bjj. Ricardo Abreu is not only one of the best competitors of all time, but he is also an excellent mentor and professor. I always look for people in different areas of my life who will help me grow, whether it be in business, family, health, spiritual, etc. In my experience, when choosing a jiu-jitsu gym, you should always choose based upon the quality of the instructor. With Ricardo, not only are you getting the highest level of instruction with specific attention paid to each of his students, regardless of belt level. He also conducts himself as an excellent role model for kids and adults on how to live life on and off the mats. I am truly grateful for his mentorship.
Amazing Gym in Plano, Friendly, personable, Clean. I've been training in Jiu Jitsu for 10 years and I can truthfully say that Ricardo is the real thing. His Jiu Jitsu is next level, and he has that ability to teach difficult moves showing the small differences in grips and body placement that make the difference in your game. Its just a shame he is not as good looking as me
When I'm not living remotely in the forest, chopping down trees, taking bathes in the near by river or hunting animals with my bare hands, I like to come into Plano and enjoy a class taught by Ricardo. His philosophy towards jiu jitsu, health and fitness, and even life is quite enjoyable. Ricardo's classes are relaxed and fun, but at the same time he manages to bring a focus and discipline that I used to get from playing sports all my life. If you are looking for gym to continue your practice in bjj or want to try it for the first time, you will not be disappointed.
World Class academy, great facility and friendly staff! 5 Stars!
With the rising popularity of BJJ, I am happy to say there are a number of good gyms just a few minutes from my house. Royal Art BJJ is, however, an amazing gym. I've been training there for over 6 months now. First, Ricardo is an actual World Champion and so the technique that he teaches is well tested at a very high level. He does not overwhelm you but is always peeling back another layer and encourages questions. It feels like you're drinking from an ocean of knowledge. With such talent, you'd expect to find a large ego but that is simply not the case. He's one of the most friendly, enthusiastic, engaging and encouraging people I've ever met. Third, he knows and cares about everyone individually. He highly values health and well being, and we spend ample time on taking care of our bodies, so we can keep on training. That's important for me at almost 40 years old. And last but not least, as the teacher sets the tone for the school, the people you will find here are also skilled and knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and caring. Belts of all colors roll together, and no one is trying to prove anything but we are all improving together. Royal Art is a place where you and your kids can feel safe to train and improve at your own pace, and find all the support you need to get there. If you have any doubts about visiting, read the dozens of other genuine testimonies here saying the same thing.
Ricardo is an amazing instructor! Knowledgeable, professional, funny, and cares about each of his students. His great with both the kids and adult classes. Make sure you stop by and try a class with him!
Ricardo is an amazing instructor. Both my son and I love training with Ricardo.
Ricardo is an extremely knowledgeable and caring instructor. He is very passionate about Jiu Jitsu. My husband and my sons all train with him and they continue to learn and grow.
Ricardo is hands down one of the best instructors in the Dallas/Plano area. His classes have a Formal Martial Arts feel but are still very relaxed and fun. I also have my 5 YO in the Jiu-Jitsu Kids class and he has a blast. I highly recommend anyone drops by if you are in the area and try it out.
Awesome instructor, the best in Plano! A great and growing kids program. Anyone who wants to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu/Martial Arts should definitely check this place out!
Ricardo is a fantastic teacher and an even better guy! His techniques with kids and self defense has made me a much better teacher...I feel blessed to have the opportunity to learn from such a humble and knowledgeable coach!
best martial arts, jiu jitsu, fitness, and self-defense professor I have ever been with. After 12 years of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu I learn something new with every technique Ricardo shows. Family atmosphere with no egos and no MMA type person pounding the new guy. From 3 to 90 you are safe with this Professor of jiujitsu. You can never get this from karate, or taekwondo, krav maga. The best instruction I have ever received.
I was a professional athlete who had retired a few years back, and was in need of something to fill a void in that part of my life. Thats when I met Ricardo at UFC gym and started training Jiu-jitsu. In time I found out that his Jiu-jitsu was world class and had all the accolades to back it up! Here we were, learning from one of the best in the world, Plano you should be so lucky, take advantage! But aside from his talent, he has a genuine passion that reflects in the way he teaches, no matter what age group or level you are at. His environment will always make you feel welcome and he will do anything he can to help you learn. I will never retire from Jiu-jitsu, thanks to Ricardo....OSSS!!
Ricardo is amazing! His passion for bjj is obvious and it inspires his students to be their best. He is excellent with children and works well with all skill levels. One would assume a world class athlete and competitor would be unapproachable. Not the case with Ricardo, He is the most humble and down to earth teacher and friend.
Coach Ricardo is an amazing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor with unmatched global experience and professionalism both on and off the mat. He's a very patient teacher who makes every session fun with his humor and he brings out the best in every student in the class. He lives the life true to what he teaches; with respect, kindness and discipline. Texas is lucky to have him and if you ever get the opportunity to work with Ricardo, don’t hesitate because your life will change for the better!
Albuquerque NM is known for green chile, authentic NM cuisine and a hotspot for world class fighters to train here! The 505 was fortunate to have Ricardo "demente" train and teach bjj at a local gym. Plano is very fortunate to have "demente" open a school! BJJ is a beautiful martial art to learn! Highly recommend to learn and train under professor abreu! I always like to use this comparison. If Michael Jordan opens a gym to teach basketball I doubt one would hesitate to sign up! Well don't hesitate to sign up and learn from a world class bjj practitioner.
Not only is Ricardo a world class athlete, he is an amazing teacher. He doesn't just show techniques, he explains the details of how they work and why you are positioning yourself in that way. He is able to see the strengths, weaknesses, and needs of each student and treats everyone as an individual. He goes above and beyond in answering questions, is patient, and is easy to talk to. You will not be disappointed training with Ricardo. I wasn't sure it was the right decision starting to train BJJ after many years off but because of Ricardo, I know I will be a lifelong student. You don't just learn about BJJ, you learn about life. I highly recommend Ricardo's BJJ school.
Ricardo Demente is a straight up Ninja. He is not only one of the greatest competitors of all time but he is also a great Professor. You can bet that you will get great instruction and your life will change for the better. Do not miss out on an opportunity to learn from Ricardo.
If you live in the Plano TX area, don't pass up the opportunity to train with Ricardo. He is in a league of his own when it comes to BJJ and his resume speaks for itself. But perhaps his most astounding accomplishment is his ability to COACH. In Albuquerque, he created a family of BJJ students because of his knowledge, leadership, selflessness and compassion. He sparked a fire in me that I never knew was there. I will be a lifelong BJJ student because of Ricardo. I am forever grateful for his knowledge and friendship. RUN, don't walk to Ricardo Demente BJJ. You won't regret it!
Although Ricardo is not as good looking as I am, he is a world class BJJ player, instructor, coach, and professor. I would not be where I am today in my BJJ journey if it was not for him.
Ricardo is one of the best Jiu Jitsu Practioners and Coach in the world but more importantly a great guy who genuinely cares about his students. You can't go wrong training with Ricardo.
Ricardo is patient and can teach anyone BJJ. Ricardo will teach you that your strength doesn't always mean having muscles and you will find out your stronger then you think.
Ricardo is an exceptional coach who understands Brazilian JiuJitsu as a technical sport and as an art form. He is a passionate, patient, and professional teacher who loves to equip people to be successful and works at the level they are at. I am so incredibly grateful to have learned from him and highly recommend studying under him!
Ricardo "demente" is a very highly acclaimed bjj competitor, including world championships to his name. He also has had a successful fighting career in the UFC. But what sets him apart as an instructor is his personalized touch to training. He treats each of his students as an individual, and works with them to learn their strengths and weakenesses and then helps them find "their game" in bjj, whatever their natural talents and abilities support. He is patient in his instruction, very detailed, and very pleasant and a great guy. I recommend you try a class with him and you will find a love for bjj as all of us in albuquerque did. He's the best!
Ricardo introduced me to the world of BJJ and had my hooked from day one. Amazing coach. Not only shows drills but explains them in a way that helps you change your way of looking at other moves. Chess not checkers!
I had the pleasure of being Ricardo's student for about 6 months in Albuquerque, NM. While having Ricardo open his own gym in Plano is a great loss for Albuquerque, it's an incredible opportunity for those in the area. Having Ricardo as my coach seriously surpassed any expectations I may have had when I first began my journey. I had never had any experience with grappling or wrestling of any kind, so I was very nervous to try my first class. Ricardo made me feel super comfortable from the moment I stepped on the mat and explained things in a way that I could understand without making me feel awkward for asking what I thought were obvious questions. He ultimately helped me to light a fire and passion for jiu-jitsu that I never would have discovered without him. At first, I was only trying the classes out for the purpose of self-defense. Now, I cannot imagine my life without jiu-jitsu. Ricardo has a way of being able to teach all levels simultaneously, while paying attention to all of his students and making sure that you are comfortable and confident in the technique while also being challenged. He is one of those coaches who is so passionate about sharing his knowledge with you and truly enjoys seeing you progress. I can say with great confidence that Ricardo gives 200% to each and every student. I seriously cannot say enough good things about him!
Ricardo is absolutely amazing! The second you step foot in his presence you know he is the real deal, you can tell he loves what he does. The passion that flows from him is contagious. He pushes you to do your best, he is encouraging and patient. The lessons he teaches apply to more than bjj, they are lessons for life. I would highly recommend Ricardo to anyone and everyone. Oss
Ricardo is the best he's top notch and a awesome instructor mentor and friend, if you want to take your game to the next level he will get you there and if you haven't tried jujitsu and want to he is very patient and he makes sure you learn was he has to offer.
Ricardo sparked what has become a lifestyle for me. I would never have thought that BJJ would have become a part of not only my daily life, but also my two daughters. He is passionate about teaching, and sees the individual strengths of each of his students. Every moment on the mat with him is a learning experience in Jiu Jitsu and how we can apply it to our everyday lives.
Ricardo is the best at what he does, teaching Brazilian jujitsu! He loves it and it shows in how he teaches! He is very patient, encouraging and fun! His knowledge of bjj is undeniable so you will be taught by an expert. Ricardo will inspire and teach you so that bjj will become a part of your life. Simply the best! Thanks for lighting the fire Ricardo!
Ricardo is an amazing BJJ instructor. Not only is he top notch in knowledge and technique, he is also humble, sincere and passionate in his instruction. He looks for the best in each of his students and is able to make you feel like you are capable of accomplishing anything. He is an inspiration to all who have the privilege of studying under him. If you are lucky enough to live in the Plano, TX area I highly recommend you take advantage of the opportunity to train with him: you will not be disappointed!
