Super great environment to learn and practice Jiu Jitsu. Every single instructor (Devin, Bianca, and Brooke) all have been extremely patient and helpful. They put what ever is being drilled in a way literally anyone can understand. From the way they structure the classes, the great teachers, to even the environment of the gym they built with all of the students you can’t go wrong choosing Pirata Jiu Jitsu. Has been an awesome experience so far for me and my son. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

Devin is an incredible instructor. The classes are straight to the point. No time is wasted and all the rolls are technical battles. If you are a competitor or just looking for a life changing hobby Pirata is a great place to train.

Amazing environment. Everyone has been super welcoming. My teenage son just recently started going here and Devin is such a great instructor. He takes time with each student to make sure they are getting things correct. The energy here is great. Best place in KC to learn Jiujitsu.

10/10 recommend to anyone looking to improve their Jiu jitsu. High level curriculum being taught and great training partners to roll with. Highly recommend dropping in and joining if you haven’t yet.
