Very disappointing experience. The website indicated there were classes for kids 4 to 5 years old and then a separate class for 6 to 7-year-olds. We signed up for the free trial which wasn't even worth the free time that we spent to be there. We showed up the person met us and had me sign a waiver and that was the extent of the introduction and discussion of what to expect out of the class or what to do. The class started and you could tell it was mixed ages. There appeared to be one other kid who was four and one other kid that was five. The remaining kids in the class were clearly over those ages and more advanced in their training. There was one boy in the class who appeared to be a teenager or close to it.The instructors took no time to interact with my child to guide him to instruct him or demonstrate anything to him to help him understand what to do on a 4-year-old level or any level. They didn't introduce themselves to my son and certainly didn't make either of us feel welcome to a new environment. My son approached one of the instructors and asked him if he could wear a belt. The instructor didn't answer him and turn around and walked away. I'm not sure if the instructor heard him or not but I know eye contact was made. It made my son cry. After explaining the situation to my son and trying to help redirect him I was able to get him to go back out there and try again. They started doing different types of moves that are unfamiliar to him like shrimp crawling and other things without any formal instruction or guidance. I would assume as coaches you would observe students who are struggling new or uncertain about what they're doing and interact with them to help guide them. My son continues to look to me on how to do things or what to do. I had to try to encourage him to ask the instructors for help, which was difficult to do for a 4-year-old in this constantly moving environment with a large group of kids who already knew what they were doing. Extremely disappointing and not worth your time if you have a child under the age of five. My son was very defeated by the interactions, the experience and lack of engagement from the coaches. He had been looking forward to this trial for a long time. He's done nothing but talk about kicking kickboxing punching martial arts for several weeks and he was looking forward to this trial. The good thing about trying things is you know what you like and you know what you don't like and we know this place isn't for us. Otherwise for older kids and adults it appears to be a great opportunity. The facility is very clean.

Great place for adults and kids alike. My 13 year old son is now enrolled. My 10 year daughter was here for a year. I too have studied here and looking to get back on the mats. You want to put in some work, come here!

So thankful for the incredible coaching here at Sharkbait's. If I was still in the area I would continue without hesitation. Great opportunity for beginner's AND experience grappler's and roller's. 10/10 would give 100 stars if I could!
