As someone who has truly trained all across the US, there is no other school like it in the best way possible. The level of instruction and dedication to their students and technique is unmatched and to be able to have access to so many knowledgeable instructors all of the time is truly remarkable. They truly get every student to up to speed and take care of their own. This gym is truly a family and I am happy to be apart of it.
I’m a blue belt and member of another Pedro Sauer affiliate. I had the pleasure of visiting and training for two evenings while in town for the holidays. The members and instructors were top-notch. Highly recommend.
I have been taking Muay Thai classes here at OSMA . The teachers and the students are very respectful and careful, the place doesn’t have any bro culture , so you get top notch instruction in safe environment. You have some advanced students with black belts in other martial arts, so you get to see and learn some of the tricks they know. The only complaint I have is that they don’t stretch enough and get right into the techniques. The Muay Thai class is preceded by a BJJ class which is always packed ( no surprise it’s an amazing BJJ school ) , so even if you want to go early to stretch and warm up by yourself there is no space . None of the other students care about it , so I think it’s just my personal problem.

This is a great place to train and I highly recommend it. I have been a student at this school for over 10 years. It is family friendly and fabulous for both the beginning and advanced student. We have a lot of black belts who work with all students. If you are looking for a welcoming and safe place to train, look no further.
Incredibly welcoming gym! I attended a great seminar and had the opportunity to meet several students and the management team. Large, open facility, clean and easy to park. Apparently this place is stacked with black belts that are absolutely willing to work with lower belts. They have a great philosophy on working with new students, so for those in the area that are interested, I would highly suggest giving them a try. Thanks for having me!

The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by friendly staff. All the instructors really seemed to care about their students progress. Their kids jiu-jitsu program is top notch, it's really cool to see 30 plus kids stay focused and disciplined for an hour while learning real anti bullying skills. In their adult BJJ they have more black belts on the mat rolling then I have found else where and everyone is extremely helpful and nice.
As a visitor, Professor Sauer and his students welcomed me in and made me feel very comfortable. The technical details of Professor Sauer are incredible and the manner in which he teaches makes it very easy to learn and apply. After class Professor Sauer took some time (about 15 minutes) and spoke to me about Jiu Jitsu philosophy and how he grew up as a child and how Jiu Jitsu helped him. He is SUPER nice and reminds me so much of my Sensei in San Diego. If you ever get the chance, train here!!

The Pedro Sauer academy is a very special place, in large part because Master Sauer and his staff are very special people. Though it features some of the most technically proficient and accomplished martial artists in the world, it has an easygoing atmosphere that welcomes men, women, and children of all ages and from all walks of life. Whether your goal is to become a world champion, to feel safer walking the streets, or just to get some exercise and lose some weight, you will find a good home here. Though I am in my late 40s, I feel safe and comfortable training here because the atmosphere is friendly and conducive to learning and growth. Finding this academy has been one of the great blessings in my life.
World class instruction. Master Sauer is one of the greatest instructors in martial arts, and all of the assistant instructors at the academy are top-notch. I've had the opportunity to train at the academy multiple times over the past few years, and I have always been welcomed and treated as family.
